My self-summary
My name is Chris and I work as a software engineer. I am very personable, others-oriented, and a great listener. I focus on directing the conversation to what is important to others, though I have somewhat of a corny joke turrets problem. Building one up is far more rewarding than making sport. In the end, I like to build friends instead of enemies and will loyally be there when you need me.

Learning is a vital part of my life and I am a hobbyist by heart. I enjoy oil painting, bladesmithing, brewing beer as well as a great many things. I’m anything but stagnant, always looking for a way to do, make, and have fun.

My eclectic activities and interests include: trying new brews, rocking out, writing verbose poetic greetings, listening to audiobooks, dissecting story elements in movies and books, taking the long way just because the day is awesome, opening the door for people, noticing minute details, making the best guacamole in the world, impersonating eccentric characters like Christopher Walken, Nacho Libre, Wooderson, Rodney Dangerfield, and Cheech, perfecting espresso drinks, saying "ES-presso" not "EX-presso", longboarding around town, figuring out what makes people tick, buying useful items that are completely useless.

I am usually the one who is orchestrating group outings and the outings vary from rock climbing, going to the movies, multi-day hikes, concerts, to game night (Halo, poker, Call of Duty, Risk). Some of the best times started with: "Hey, what are you doing....right now?". As much as I love to go out, I cherish time spent with my family (Parents, two younger brothers, and a fireball of a 93 year old grandmother).
The first things people usually notice about me
My kind heart and quirky sense of humor. If its a hairstylist, then it's how thick my hair is.

Nice to haves:
I really hope you are an intellectual, musing about concepts, themes, and values, and reads regularly. Physical appearance is important to a degree. It is also good if you make an effort to stay fit and healthy. You don't need to be a super model, but a lot of excess weight is not a good thing as it shows a lack of self control.
