My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
In Los Angeles for a little while, looking to meet some cool folks in the area. If you're in LA and want to go to a film festival, an art gallery, a night spot, or if you just want some engaging repartee with a passionate person, drop me a line.

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”
-Albert Camus

Artist, writer, aspiring screenwriter/director, lover of all things retro (aesthetically, that is).

The square peg in this round hole society, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Individualism rocks. Fitting in is overrated.

Art is life, the rest is just details.

Film, music, painting, sculpture, whatever your preferred medium creative expression is what makes life wonderful.

I love, love, love vintage. Retro fashion, old music, black and white film, classic cars, art deco architecture, all of it. I'd say I was born in the wrong era, but I know I'd be just as incongruous with whatever generation I was born to. My love of the early 20th century is purely aesthetic. The over the counter opium would've been pretty great, though.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been pitching my scripts to independent film studios to get one produced. So far it's been going great, out of the three studios I pitched, all three are interested in my scripts.

Currently, trying to get a screenplay sold with various connections I've made in LA over the past year. I'm also writing a stand-up comedy act and hope to start performing within the next several months.

I'm also getting into copy writing so I'll be able to support myself via writing. So far, I'm loving it.

I'm also always working on other projects, with various scripts.

The way I dress. It can be a challenge trying to dress like a 1920s blues player on a budget, but I somehow make it work.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Film, music, screenwriting, philosophy, politics, fashion, editing, my friends, the baffling lack of modern iconoclasts, why society sucks so damn much.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends. I might go to a show, or hit a bar or club. Conversely, I could spend a quiet night at home watching a film, writing or cooking. I'm very open to where the night takes me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Experimenting with substances is something I do quite frequently. I can date someone who doesn't partake, but if you're judgmental about that kind of thing, we won't get along.

You're a film buff, you're an art lover, you like going to shows and museums, you're passionate about something, you know who you are separate from all the labels attached to you, you don't mind my opinionated rants, you actually want face-to-face interaction instead of hiding behind a computer, you feel as out-of-step with this society as I do.
