My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
While I like staying at home with friends, having a beer and playing a game or watching a movie, I also love to go camping and swimming. I swam competitively for years and found it to be a great stress reliever. It has been awhile since I have had a chance to really do either, but I still hold on to the hopes that my friends will cave and go camping some time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently started working for an Engineering company here in Connecticut. I love it so far, the idea that something that I help design will be out in the world is a great feeling.

At some point I plan to go back for my PhD, probably within the next 5 years or so. Once I have my PhD I will be in a position to become a professor when I retire.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Inventing narratives, usually completely outlandish but with a straight enough face that I might just be telling the truth.

Knowing the right thing to say, or not say, to make people I know laugh. Making terrible jokes and puns, even if they only make me laugh I count that as a win.

Probably my hair, if I've let it grow out a little. It grows in tight curls. Kind of like an Afro...OK exactly like an Afro. I've also been told I have dreamy eyes.

Just a quick list for now
Pop Punk like We Are The In Crowd, I enjoy the driving guitar with lyrics I can actually understand. Ludo adds some comedy into the Pop Punk mix, and Guster is kind of an outlier but I've been a fan since high school.
