My self-summary
Experimental/electronic/ambient/noise musician, righteous loudmouth, artistic snob, dreamy idealist, cynical curmudgeon, loyal friend, femme tomboy, transsexual oddity, and walking contradiction.

Please note: before you go any further, I am only interested in femme bodied people. I am only interested in Queer people. Androgynous and Genderqueer people are welcome. I'm primarily interested in people who are part of the Trans spectrum.
If you are a heterosexual man, I have no interest in you, so please do not waste your time.

Hobbies/Interests/Obsessions: Electronic and experimental music, old buildings, exploring things, finding stuff, architecture, atmosphere, lips, fingers, tongues, personalities, self expression, media vandalism, calling people on bullshit, makeup, image manipulation, hair, clothes, alcohol, sex, boots, intimacy, genderfuckers, tomboys, deviants, glasses, armpits, singing, voice manipulation, sound experimentation, writing, drawing, critical analysis, massage, flowers, trees, night, stars, astronomy, science fiction, erotica, human rights, conversation, kissing, sleeping, eating, travelling, cooking, mythology, language, culture and society at large. And a bunch of other stuff as well.

Qualities: nocturnal, artistic, organised, passionate, vain, exothermic.

I am courageous, emotional, perfectionist, hyperactive, occasionally neurotic, and powered almost entirely by vinegar.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a musician, artist and a performance artist.

I'm also an Information Specialist, Data Wrangler and pattern matcher.
I’m really good at
Pattern matching, information management, remembering unusual details, making tea, attention to detail, talking, being the centre of attention, *not* being the centre of attention, inventive sandwich making, being an opinionated bitch.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my eyes.
After that:
Most likely my demonstrative eloquence ;-) my verbosity, and my use of language and expression.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Will all be dust in enough time.

However I collect old science fiction, and have quite a stack of Tolkien. I've also got some Oscar Wilde, some Virginia Woolf, some Dickens and I genuinely like Shakespeare. I don't mind the odd biography. There's also a bunch of language related stuff , mostly Dutch and French, various things about art and a decent smattering of cook books. I've got a Gay and Lesbian Travel Guide somewhere but I think it's out of date by now.

Movies:
Ken Russell's Gothic is rather good and better than its reputation deserves. Most modern movies are pretty formulaic and silly really. I do like Donnie Darko and Pulp Fiction, Better than Chocolate, Orlando and City of Lost Children. There's a few more here and there. I like the Marx Bros.

I often like queer themed movies. What was that famous Greg Araki one? All Fucked Up. There's not enough proper queer and trans queer stuff out there. I get sick of seeing hetero couples snog and make believe fuck. I've seen some really good stuff from Germany, Poland and France. I've got a book somewhere where I scribble things I like. I must find it.

Television:
I'm not a big fan of TV particularly at the moment, I think it's becoming a dead medium very fast and being totally superseded by the internet. There are a few gems here and there, but people go on about their TV shows like it's some kind of family member or their favourite pet. Really it's not that important. TV is awful for the most part. However, I am on old school Doctor Who fan and do tend to like Science Fiction in general. Don't mind the new series from time to time, but the older is better IMO. Smith is better than Tennant by miles.

Music:
I like a very wide range of music. I couldn't really live without music and my brain is like an autistic jukebox and never ever shuts off, which is a tad annoying at times. I really like kd Lang, she's superb and amazing live.
I like a lot of noisy experimental music and make it myself.
My tastes are all over the place and don't fit into any category at all.
I like Big Black, Slayer, the Xanadu Sountrack, early Cure, Shostakovich, B(if)tek, Chopin, Pixies, Jon Hopkins, Ellen Allien, Nasenbluten, Lisa Germano, Boards of Canada, Devin Townsend, an Australian alt pop band from the 90's called The Clouds, The Indigo Girls, Uakti (a Brazillian drumming group) ...all sorts of stuff. I probably won't like the top 40 or whatever if you play it at me. I quite like the radio station Raw FM which plays dance music all the time. I do like a lot of dance music of varying styles.

2MBS FM radio have a late night experimental music show made by a group called the Contemporary Music Collective, which features some really interesting sounds. I think experimental music is often highly underrated. Oh and I'm a big fan of Kate Bush, she was probably the first artist I really got into about 5 or 6 years of age. There's heaps of talent out there that's not getting exposure. One of my best friends is a superb musician and composer. We're working on a project together which is pretty neat. I do like a lot of my own sounds too tbh.

Food:
I am strictly vegetarian. And what that means is that I don't eat creatures. No, I don't eat fish (lol), thanks for asking a silly question. I don't say Vegan, simply cos I do eat eggs and cheese and cannot tolerate soy milk at all. I do love cheese though and don't see myself stopping that any time soon. I am quite a foodie and love it and enjoy eating and trying new things. I have no issues with a partner eating whatever and will happily cook for them. I genuinely enjoy cooking and making nice food for someone.

I'm pretty healthy food wise really apart from the fact that I consume twice my bodyweight in salt a week.
Also I'm rather fond of wine. And tasty beer. I don't really touch spirits any more after a few incidents a while ago. It's safer not to. I used to be a ferocious drinker, but I've toned down a lot, mostly because there are more important things, I haven't the stamina I used to, and frankly, I just got bored with it. I'd rather a cup of lemon tea and honey a lot of the time. I can still tie one on at times though and like getting pleasantly hammered *with* people.
The six things I could never do without
Honestly what a wanky question. Apart from air, water, food and a nice place to sleep. However, I'll play:
i) Conversation
ii) Intimacy
iii) Hormones
iv) Good food
v) Tea
vi) The Internet
vii) Music
viii) Art
ix) A sense of self
x) the ability to count
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Yes I do. I like to think a lot, especially when I'm about.
On a typical Friday night I am
A different species
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The obvious, I'm girl with a few inches extra. And I'm probably going to keep them. So if you're not down with that forget about it.
I'm also a hella pervert. I might look like sweetness and light but if you can think of it I will probably want to do it at some point.
I'm usually pretty smart but I have what I like to call "Britney" moments from time to time, where the brain just takes a holiday.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like girls
  • Ages 25–50
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, activity partners, long-distance penpals
