My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm usually smiling. I like going out and exploring new places. I'm close to my family but far enough away so they don't drive me crazy. I enjoy living life one adventure at a time and find humor in just about any situation. My hobbies include motorcycling, skiing, hiking, tinkering, and overall just having fun. I'd rather get dinner at a brewery then a 5 star but enjoy classing it up on occasion. I like all kinds of music, even the occasional country song. I love skiing and I secretly wish I could quit my job as an engineer and be a ski bum (but I'll settle on a few ski trips every year for now). In my opinion, I have a great sense of humor with just a tiny bit of sarcasm. I'm definitely an optimist. I'm honest, thoughtful, and kind. I work hard but and try to enjoy my time outside of work too. I want a house one day with a yard and a dog. I like staying active by running or swimming or skiing or anything. Mini road trips are always fun and hold me over till my next big one. I'm a big fan of camping and campfires and I've always wanted to have one on the beach. Anyway, this is just a snapshot of me, ask me anything!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Planning my escape from my day job! I'm an engineer by day and a superhero-villain-ski bum by night and weekend. I own an apartment an every city I choose park in.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Skiing, driving (four wheels and two, sometimes just one), finding humor and positivity in almost any situation, cooking, pool, getting away with misdemeanors.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm smiling.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books tend to put me to sleep, but the few that haven't are anything by Harlan Coben, Good To Great, Ski Magazine (I buy it for the articles!) Movies in no particular order: Shawshank Redemption, Super Troopers, Taken, Toy Story, Aliens, Boondock Saints, Pool Hall Junkies, Pineapple Express, The Saint, any James Bond or Bruce Lee film. Music: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Linkin Park, POTUSA, I love all music afterall, music soothes the savage beast. Food...I love all food especially buffalo anything! Pub food is my favorite. Ill eat anything except mushrooms, I had a bad experience when I was little.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family and friends.
2. Music, it soothes [and awakens] the savage beast.
3. Internal combustion engine...I love driving my car and bike!
4. Christmas, it's my favorite!
5. The mountains, I love hiking, skiing, and just staring out at them.
6. Bippidy Boppidy Bacon!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about my next crazy road trip (California and Alaska on a sportbike...check and check). Hmm some other things are: my career path, how do get my motorcycle into my 2nd floor livingroom, what I would pack if I had to leave the area tonight forever, where I want to plant roots, how to organize a foam pit, rock climbing wall, firemans pole, and a labrynth of secret passages in my future house, how stuff works, if I blew out that candle before I left, what movie I should buy next, what my future dog will be and what I will call him.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Bonding over drinks with friends, family, and strangers, or driving north to go skiing or wearing sweat pants and watching a movie or listening to music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
1. My neighbors are gonna be so mad when they open their pool and find all those champagne corks.
2. I'm not allowed back in Canada till I pay that ticket.
3. I rarely pay tolls. One day it will bite me in the ass, but today is not that day!

If you're are confident and cute, open to try new things and go on imprompt to road trips around new England, if you find yourself smiling sometimes just because...if you generally happy and have a positive outlook.
