My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Me…

I find welding more meditative than Yoga, I do both, yet spend more time wearing a welding hood than stretching on a mat. I am a single dad. I do my best to purchase my groceries at farmers markets, and occasionally I can throw together a decent meal out of them. I love my blender, hit the gym a few times a week, and occasionally take a long lunch on Camelback or Squaw Peak. My world is filled with synchronicities; I enjoy how the completion of dreams often comes to pass in ways I could not have planned.

I have the most interesting friends. I have friends that are animatronics artists and puppeteers for the movie industry, friends that build air cannons that shoot pumpkins thousands of feet. I have friends who build houses out of tires, dirt, beer cans and concrete. I have friends that build racecars, artist friends, creator friends, rocket scientist friends, and friends who are Ninjas... Perhaps it’s my hobbies and interests, or the people they attract? Regardless I feel fortunate for the people I choose to hang out with. I love watching anyone who is skilled at a craft and loves doing something. I like asking questions, and I like observing people. Humans can be so fun to watch.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have spent my adult life building hot rods and race cars, designing functional art, studying architecture, creating sculptures, and building interesting contraptions. I love my work, engineering, design, creation and scaring myself. I have traveled the country with race teams, received an award from Carroll Shelby, helped repair a car after crashing at 550 mph. I once thought it a brilliant idea to create a business that manufactured racing barstools. I like solving problems elegantly, building things, and creation…

Currently, designing a house and shop to be built out of tires, heated by the sun and cooled mostly by the earth... Frank Lloyd Wright said, "a house is a space for living in." I plan to modify his quote to, "a shop is a space for working in..."

TV.. I use it as a monitor for Netflix, and my laptop mainly... My TV has been turned off for most of the past 20 years. Was addicted to Madmen, Dexter, Californication, and Overhaulin for a short time,, thank you DVR's and reruns...

Food... Yummy and healthy are great! Delicious and unhealthy make it into my mouth occasionally too. Most of the time I use food as fuel, sometimes I use it as decadence...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Welding and creation-I went thru withdrawals after a few weeks in Oz without a wrench or torch...
2. iPhone, amazing little device I have given much of my memory to and owe my future photography career.
4. Laughter!
5. Play/skipping
6. Dreams and working toward them...
