I'm the kind of woman who prefers to drink a beer rather than sipping on a fruity drink at a bar. I like to dance, but that does not mean that I am a fantastic dancer(in fact, I'm quite terrible), but I love the feeling of just letting go. Sometimes I like to get up real close to the stage at live shows because I feel like that's where all the dancing people are.

I'm not really that much of an eastsider, but I have nothing against that area. I am more of a SoLa girl. :) I enjoy going to chill places with a group of friends most of the time these days. But then again, I am also down to go to dirty 6th on certain days.

I love doing random things, working out, trying out new things, meeting new people. We only get one life, I try not to be closed minded. I don't want to wake up one day when I am in my 80's regretting that I didn't do this or that.

I am working on getting my masters in public history and secondary education. I will be graduating this summer and I am excited/terrified about it. I work for the LBJ Museum and Library and I love it.

Making people laugh, photography, eating food, and memorizing things.

My eyes, smile, clever remarks, or my ridiculously long last name.

These are things I like to talk about on a first date, but I will give a quick rundown of what I like.

Movies: Forrest Gump, Eternal Sunshine, Goonies, Princess Bride, Breakfast Club, Clueless, Labyrinth, and anything with Audrey Hepburn in it.

Shows: Breaking Bad, Dowton Abbey, Mad Men, Modern Family, Bob's Burgers, True Blood, Bones, and Parks and Rec.

Music: Radiohead, M83, Quiet Company, Flaming Lips, Fleet Foxes, My Morning Jacket, Florence + The Machine, Two Door Cinema Club...and much much more...

Food: I love food. I won't knock it until I try it. Favorites would have to be sushi, Indian, TexMex, Italian, and Thai.

Family, Friends, and my dog Parker (Yep, they all rank as one)
Coffee - Hey, it's better than cigarettes.
Music - There is no need for explanation.
Books - I'm a historian. I love stories.
Chips and Salsa - I am a Texan through and through.
Men - Yep.

Of course my future, school, if I am really living my life to the fullest? You know, that kind of stuff.

Watching a movie at the Alamo Drafthouse, getting drinks with friends, listening to live music, or sometimes I like to stay in and watch something off of Netflix.

I still love listening to Blink-182 while driving, with my windows down, and the wind blowing my hair in wild directions.

I still have a small obsession with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and anything by Joss Whedon.

Honestly, I am pretty happy with my life and I have a lot going for me. I am just missing one thing that would make my life a little more complete. I want someone who is looking for their partner in crime. Someone who actually wants to be with me so that we can continue exploring this world and our lives with each other.

So if you're just looking for something casual, fun, short-term - move along. I am looking for something more.
