My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Once my braces come off, I think I'm going to leave the Bay Area. It's been an incredible two years, but I'm ready to move on...

I live in Oakland and work in San Francisco. I was born and raised in the great state of Virginia. I like: coffee, dogs, architecture, art, and guitars.

I'm looking for people to hang out with! I was quite the introvert in high school and college. I'm supposed to be a professional! It'd be nice to work on my social skills.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work just about all day long. I finally got the workaholic job I've always secretly desired! Well, I do work in my dream profession. No seriously, it's kinda weird to be doing what you wanted to do since you were 9.... That was too many "do"s... Anyways, I'm also: paying rent, eating good food, and making stuff ( like 18"x24" mixed media watercolors).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Single variable algebra.

Being polite / well-mannered.

Throwing things in the air and catching them behind my back.

Finishing my plate.
The first things people usually notice about me

No clue. There's a lot to take in, a lot to interpret. I'm of mixed ethnicity... And I'm an adult with braces. :( ~or maybe it should be :$
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite book: Ham on Rye, by Charles Bukowski. Also, "Catch-22". Vonnegut is great. Breakfast of Champions and SH5 were good reads. Raymond Carver is my kind of Americana. I like Murakami (but who doesn't?), Patti Smith, and I thought, "On The Road" was sweet.

Favorite movie: Taxi Driver? OH, Vertigo. Man, I love that movie. Hitchcock, Kubrick, Coen brothers, Miyazaki. I love classic films! Fellini, Nikkatsu noir, even some old westerns. I read, "Inherent Vice" but wasn't too crazy about it... But I am excited for the film by Paul T. Anderson!

No tv for me. Sorry everyone everywhere. I did like: Arrested Development, the Simpsons, Seinfeld, and still very much enjoy Adventure Time.

Music: Fugazi, Samba & Bossa Nova. I listen to a lot of varying stuff... 60's exotica to... Paramore. My youth was saturated with melodic post, pop punk, & hardcore. I like classic country (Pedal steel guitar... what can I say?), I even like some noise bands... but let's not talk about that.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
More or less, "Happy".
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have absolutely no idea how people typically judge me based on my appearance.

I'm in an internationally recognized documentary about American Latinos. I'm also in the sequel that's about to come out... Pretty sure there's footage of me playing the Star-Spangled Banner on electric guitar while wearing an American flag shirt.
