My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
New(ish) to the Bay Area. Working as a junior architect. I live near the lake. No, I don't have a pitbull or bulldog yet...

I like playing guitar, painting, and going for ridiculously long walks.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Making things day by day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Single variable algebra.

Being polite / well-mannered.

Throwing things in the air and catching them behind my back.

Finishing my plate.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
No clue. There's a lot to take in, a lot to interpret. I'm of mixed ethnicity... And I'm an adult with braces... so, there's that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite book: Ham on Rye, by Charles Bukowski. Also, "Catch-22". Vonnegut is great. Breakfast of Champions and SH5 were good reads. Raymond Carver is my kind of Americana. I like Murakami (but who doesn't?), Patti Smith, and I thought, "On The Road" was sweet.

Favorite movie: Taxi Driver? OH, Vertigo. Man, I love that movie. I fall asleep to that A LOT. Hitchcock, Kubrick, Coen brothers, Miyazaki. I love classic films! Fellini, Nikkatsu noir, even some old westerns. I read, "Inherent Vice" but wasn't too crazy about it... But I am excited for the film by Paul T. Anderson.

No tv for me. Sorry everyone everywhere. I did like: Arrested Development, the Simpsons, Seinfeld, and still very much enjoy Adventure Time.

Music: Fugazi, Samba & Bossa Nova. I listen to a lot of varying stuff... 60's exotica to... Paramore. My youth was saturated with melodic post, pop punk, & hardcore. I like classic country (Pedal steel guitar... what can I say?), I even like some noise bands... but let's not talk about that.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Material palettes associated with rituals... Like ceramic and metal with drinking coffee or canvas and wood with painting.

I'm not cool.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Spaces/places
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
More or less, "Happy".
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm in an internationally recognized documentary about American Latinos. I'm also in the sequel that's about to come out... Pretty sure there's footage of me playing the Star-Spangled Banner on electric guitar while wearing an American flag shirt.

Also, I work. I work a lot.

You'd like to hang out and make stuff... or just drink tons of milk tea/coffee. Also, I'd love to explore and see new thing in the bay!
