I am laid-back, compassionate, and motivated.
My Self-Summary
I am in my second year of law school and I love it and hate it
equally. I am from IL but love SF and hope to stay here for a long
time (the weather is just so much better). I've played soccer
pretty much my whole life, played competitively on my college team,
and really need to find a team around here because I miss it like
crazy. I love movies and relaxing with a beer. I can't cook for the
life of me but will do it if I care about you - and you better
pretend to like it ;-) I like to go out and have drinks/go dancing
when I have the time. I read a lot (but mostly about law nowadays).
I have an amazing relationship with my family, who all live back in
IL but love to go drinking in the Castro with me when they're in
town. I look and dress kinda butch but my personality wouldn't
necessarily reflect that. I want to learn how to surf as soon as
possible, so if you know how, teach me? I continue to wear my heart
on my sleeve (though I should know better by now). Annnnd I like to
have fun and don't like to waste time being angry.
What I’m doing with my life
Law school. It is an unfortunate hazing right of passage into
lawyerville.
I’m really good at
Soccer, school, writing, video-games (yes, I know, that's nerdy),
being a friend and listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hot body. Hah. Just kidding (you decide).
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Time Traveler's Wife, anything by Dan Savage, Ray Bradbury,
or Jodi Picoult, and embarrassingly enough my Wills & Trusts
Law Book
Movies: Scary movies in general, Meet Joe Black, Wedding Crashers,
Benny & Joon, Seven, Jumanji (yes, seriously), Old School,
Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Crash, The Changeling, Jaws . . . I
could go on forever I think . . .
Music: Jack's Mannequin, SoCo, and so, so many others.
Food: Mexican food + margaritas, generally not a picky eater at
all. (I am not a vegetarian/vegan - I love meats of all varieties,
especially the little sausages that always come on cheese trays)
The six things I could never do without
1. Family (I am a daddy's girl for sure, but my mom is awesome
too)
2. Chapstick (I just laughed because chapstick was the next thing
that popped into my mind after family - random)
3. My hair clippers (I cut my own hair very often - because I am a
little OCD about it being perfect)
4. Friends (the kind that don't date your ex-gf)
5. A good Chicago-style pizza and a beer (yeah that's 2 things in
1, but they cannot be separated)
6. I ran out of ideas.
