My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A guy who has moved from one big city to another (London to Manchester and how time has flown). I like to spend my spare time travelling, watching movies, marathons of TV shows and going to gigs. I like to get out and about. I'd like to see more of the north. Moving to Manchester was definitely a great decision.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently working as a Guard/Conductor/Train Manager (same thing) for a rail company. I am currently looking at my options for career progression. I'm also making plans to travel more of the world. Although I come across as somewhat serious on this, I have decided that life is for living and I'm going to enjoy every day for what it's worth.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Apparently giving advice. Everyone I know seems to turn to me for advice on anything and everything. I'd like to think I can help wherever possible. Beyond that, being a fountain of general knowledge. It's both a gift and a curse
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The most likely thing will be how quiet I am when I don't know someone. Once I get going though, people will want me to shut up. I can talk for England.

The only other thing is usually the funky gamer/media/whatever shirt that I'll be wearing. I like quirky shirts.

Either all of that or the grey hairs. Damn genetics. At least I can be grateful that I won't be losing my hair :P
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favourite books include The Song of Fire and Ice series and anything Tolkien related. A lot more to this but I seem to find less time to read these days which is a real shame.

My favourite movies include Scott Pilgrim, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Back to the Future Trilogy, Star Wars original trilogy, Inception, The One (Jet Li Movie), Wreck it Ralph and the The Hobbit movies. I am also a fan of most DC and Marvel movies (Huge DC fan). I do admit that I have a huge soft spot for animated stuff by Studio Ghibli, Dreamworks or Pixar. Also Animaniacs..... no more needs to be said on that one.

Shows (as in musicals) include Avenue Q, Spamalot and Wicked.

As for series, it has to be Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Big Bang Theory, House MD, Futurama, Grimm, Firefly, Arrow, The Flash, Torchwood, Dr Who (old and new), Orange is the New Black, Sherlock, Ripper Street (Thank you Amazon for renewing it from the BBC) as well as any documentary by David Attenborough. I will say that my TV series list is somewhat never ending. Above is only a small selection.

Music Varies. If I like it I like it. I'm Into rock, metal, brit rock, trance, classical, chill out and many other genres. Favourite bands include Iron Maiden, SOAD, The Offspring, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Sonata Arctica, AC/DC, Slipknot, Korn, Lacuna Coil, Metallica, Megadeth, The Prodigy, Pendulum, Oasis, Blur, Supergrass, The Hives, The Vines, Bomfunk MC's, Pendulum, Weird Al Yankovic, Dr Dre, Eminem, Living Colour, Hurts, Savage Garden, W.A.S.P, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, GnR and countless others. It's a never ending list.

Food is generally anything and always willing to try something new. Steak is a definite number 1 though.

Doesn't mention it but going to add it anyhow. GAMES!!! Where to begin. Final Fantasy I - XII (IX being my personal favourite), Bioshock 1, 2 and Infinite. Borderlands 1, 2 and prequel, Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2. There are lots more but those have been my obsession games.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Being able to travel
Tea (addicted to the stuff)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Spend too much time thinking about how many places I still need to visit around the world. Making it my ambition to travel as much as my job allows. I'm also thinking about why I am filling this out to be honest.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At work or when not at a work, chilling at home with a good boxset series of some sort.

I'm not averse to going out on a friday night, but I prefer bars/pubs over night clubs (unless it has good music)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am the largest Animaniacs fan ever. I actually cried tears of joy when Warner Brothers finally completed the DVD release of the series. Six years of waiting for it to happen.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to chill out and relax. Life is to live and to enjoy. I love going to gigs, the cinema and generally like to travel (locally and abroad).

If any of this interests anyone and anyone is still reading this by now then I'm genuinely impressed. Go ahead and message me. I tend to be too shy to do so myself.
