My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The Kings are the 2014 Stanley Cup Champions!!!

I almost died the first time I snowboarded. I wasn't born here in the United States, but my English is impeccable. I am simultaneously the most Asian and most white person you know, and part of that is due to the fact that I can read Chinese (and do read Chinese books from time to time) and that I love hockey. How does a boy from a tropical island who reads Chinese novels get into the whitest, most wintery sport?

I am also an awful person, but I'll be your awful person!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just became internet famous, so I'm just waiting for that theoretical money to roll in.

I taught myself how to use Photoshop right after I graduated high school. Then, three years ago, I taught myself how to make websites in two days. When I am interested in and passionate about something, I put effort into it. As a result I am now a graphic designer for a company in Torrance. I also worked freelance; a lot of my work is primarily in the music business because of my connections. I've worked with festivals like Coachella and The Hootenanny.

When not plying my trade on the computer, I am busy watching and cheering on the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings. I also dream about a grand train tour of the US.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Everyday math.

Making people laugh.

Ordering dim sum.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm the one making the inappropriate / "too soon" jokes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I am picky in all aspects of my life; and I think my picks are the best things in the world. I like books by Christopher Moore and Chuck Palahniuk. My reading material usually contain a lot of absurdity.

I enjoy the occasional intellectual movie, but it is comedies like Zoolander and action like Pacific Rim that keep my blood pumping.

Other great movies include, but are not limited to, Forrest Gump, Inception, Contagion, Moneyball, The Dark Knight trilogy, and the Star Wars saga. The latest one of the greats is The LEGO Movie. No joke.

I like very few bands and would rather say I like certain songs as opposed to the bands that play them, but my iPhone would probably tell a different story. This includes Linkin Park, which was and always will be a part of the memories of my years in high school.

Chinese, Mexican, Italian, and American cuisine makes me salivate. In the area of food I am probably the least adventurous.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Integrity - I hate hypocrisy. I want my yeses to be yeses and my noes be noes.

Sense of humor - I would rather die than take everything way too seriously.

You know what I can do without, though?

My awesome sense of timing.

Five minutes after you've finished eating you can be sure that your phone will ring and I will be on the other line asking if you want lunch. Perfect.

I'm in town, finally; want to meet? What, your best friend's dad just unexpectedly died!?

Hey, cute girl who's been giving me the eye the entire party; finally I can talk to you, but sorry, my friend's allergies are acting up because of the house cat and I have to leave without your number.

(All actual historical events.)

Ya, I love it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
if OKCupid still send both people an email to notify that they've rated each other 1 star. Mutual burns are hilarious.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know why, but staying up late enough to see the sun rise makes me very sad. I should make up a good story to seem sympathetic.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to tell all your friends amazing stories of what we have done together.

And you're almost always willing to be a good sport.

Having a sense of humor that's dark and inappropriate is also recommended.

Also since I work in Torrance now I would love someone in the area to go to after quitting time. You would be a lot more fun than traffic!
