I try to make a difference in people's lives. You have to be able to laugh at yourself. Humor is one of my great attributes.

I was born and raised in Connecticut and attended Brandeis in the late 70's. I am not very religious. As I grow more mature I feel more of a connection to my upbringing . Life is short. and you have to make something of it or it will pass you by.

There are a tons of interesting people out there. Being single again has its advantages and disadvantages. It's ups and downs. But it is for the best, at least from my personal perspective.

At this point, I would like to meet a woman who is easy going, adventurous, doesn't play games or engages in drama and is intelligent and cultured. I am not a control freak. I am easy going. Alright, I get a little stressed from time to time but that's just me.

Travel and music and fine foods from all over the world are the things I enjoy the most. I enjoy leisure but I take life seriously. You have to work hard to get anywhere in this world but you have to have fun too!

I enjoy living. Life is precious but you must work at it and strive to improve I have never been one to feel sorry for myself.

We have all been through good times and bad. I try and keep things in perspective. People come to me for counseling and advice. Sometimes I don't always listen to myself as much as I should.

At this point, I want health and happiness like everybody else. I haven't traveled nearly as much as I should have and changing that is a big goal of mine. Even weekend road trips are great. You need to get away from the stress and craziness of everyday life.

You need to recharge your batteries as my mother used to say.

That being said, forgiveness, kindness and understanding are characteristics of a good person. I try for these ideals. I am getting better at all of them. I guess it's called growing up.

I really don't know what people first think about me. I have a pretty good life so I must be doing something right.

I like that show Shameless on Showtime and Breaking Bad has its moments. All time favorite show has to be the Sopranos. There has never been anything like that.

I enjoy live theater very much. Looking to see more as Cleveland has great shows.

I listen to all kinds of music and a lot of esoteric material.

Ready to try something new. Fridays can be tough if it's a long week. Otherwise, I like to hang out with friends, see a movie, have dinner or during the warm weather, enjoy activities as long as possible.

I was quite shy and introverted growing up. We were raised in a sheltered environment which has its advantages and disadvantages. It took me a long time to figure things out.

You want to hang out with a cool guy who will make you laugh and will respect you. I am looking to meet somebody who wants to enjoy life and sees the glass as being half full and is not into drama.

I am not into control and love to learn new things. The main thing is just to have fun and enjoy each other. No agenda.
