Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm constantly awestruck... Riding my bike over a bridge in New
York City. Looking out the window in a plane... Riding in the front
subway car.. Seeing a stranger help another stranger.. Seeing a
blind man take the subway... Having a Shake Shack burger...
Climbing a mountain and seeing the beautiful view... Riding a
motorcycle on a highway.. Diving into a big wave that seems like it
could take you away... Running the New York City marathon (and
dancing in front of my family and friends near the finish line).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After a slew of oddjobs from driving a pedicab to mannying to being
a ballboy at the US Open to working at NY1 News, I'm taking
engineering classes, so I can finally make some of the ideas that
I've dreamt about. After wishing I went to public school my whole
life (so I could relate to John Hughes and high school movies
better), I'm finally attending one. Currently in a Green
Manufacturing and Technology program at City Tech--a CUNY school in
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Museum going. Giving good phone and leaving horrible voicemails.
Flying standby (my mom's a flight attendant). People watching.
Devouring breakfast sandwiches. Navigating the subway. I've been
lazy lately, but I like to think I make a mean omelette.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a lot of space in between my teeth (So stand back!) and I
like to ask questions. That I don't have a Boston accent even
though I grew up outside of Boston.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This portion was way too long, so I'm going minimalist... Probably
a lot of the same things you like.
I love it when you find a book that you race home to finish.
Unfortunately, my room is littered with many that I haven't
finished. It's a source of anguish.
Even though I'm going minimalist, Bill Murray
needs to be mentioned as
he always should be.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(1) some way to write stuff down (can't believe I strayed from
pencils for so long) (2) daydreams (3) fun socks (4) camera (5) my
Casio (6) bicycle or some way to feel like I'm going fast
Overtime: Calexico, a radio to listen to WNYC
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Million dollar ideas... What fun thing in New York should I go to?
My next motorcycle
. Time. Friends. Family.
Which subway car will the pretty girl be on? Will I make it there
on time? Should I have pumped up the tires on my bike? How can I
break into the Domino Sugar Factory... or go see the Underbelly
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I have class on Saturdays right now, so lately I've been going to
Trader Joe's to stock up and then I pig out at home. Last Friday, I
went to the Bulgarian Disco and it was amazing as always
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think I've cried every time that I've listened to The Moth Radio
. I love black licorice... I know it grosses most people
out, but it may be my favorite candy. I hope you don't like black
licorice so I don't have to share it with you, but if you do, I
I own a WNYC
and I love it. However, I really can't find a way to use it because
it would really be a man-purse.
