July 2014 update: Aquaponics and Bell Siphons

July 2013 update: I'd love to meet a femaie, preferably residing in Singapore, who's a great fan of the Baltimore-based 5-season HBO series "The Wire" and Breaking Bad.

Born and grew up in Singapore, multilingual. I love both Singaporean and American n Brit cultures. I speak, read ,write, curse and dream in English mostly, sometimes Cantonese, Hokkien if I'm pissed off. I enjoy working, and but am surely not a workaholic. Loved the ski trips to Whistler, Tignes Val Claret, Meribel, Wengen, Park City Utah, Banff, Niseko, Vail and St. Anton. Used to make a yearly trip to Bali to eat, sleep, relax, READ like mad and have long conversations with close friends. I am to reading like a tiger shark is to eating. Unfussy with a broad diet.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
trying to constantly be a better man, and being more pro-active in meeting a life-partner to learn, live, laugh and travel through life with.
I'm far from perfect, and some things I've managed to fix after learning from past mistakes. Still more to go, to be that little bit closer to being what a good man should be. Perfection is impossible, but I should never stop trying.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking a decent meal with a disparate bunch of ingredients scraped together from the bowels of the fridge and larder. I try my best to turn "Make-do" into "Damn Yummy".

explaining complicated stuff in simple language, so that its accessible to others.

reading and learning quickly. I know a bit about a lot of things, and have been called "The Wizard of Irrelevant Facts" by a dear friend.

The last thing, well, you'll find out if you're the right person.

You eat a lot, should actually look a lot fatter.

How Singapore can best reverse the damage from the "asset appreciation" policies that has led to sky-high HDB prices, super long and super huge loans, and hence generations of Singaporeans who will only have the means for either retirement or financing major illnesses, but not both.

Trebuchets

Besides that, it would be the next ski trip, or which hawker meal is next or any movies that I have yet to watch

stole this from some girl's profile, speaks my mind better than I can:"I want to give a massive middle finger to the stifling "Asian values" society that makes women into conniving, manipulative, self-styled "princesses" and men into the impotent eunuchs who have to serve them."
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinks with my buddy near work, dinner date with a girl or with friends, a nice movie if one is showing, or am just at home watching a flick or reading.

Or surfing YouTube :)

out in the open on a dating site, would not be anything very interesting. But to the right woman, after a significant milestone, will be all the private things that you can handle
