I am eating, drinking, and merry.

My Self-Summary

I like doing things that are exciting and fun - rollercoasters, bungee jumping, skydiving, anything that scares my adrenaline into overdrive usually puts a smile on my face.

I'm also a bit of a hedonist. I like having fun, and so I like to go to movies, see plays, eat dinner out, have some drinks with friends, go dancing until I think my heart is going to burst and my legs are going to fall off, and then collapse in bed long enough to rest up for the next day. And that's just a Monday night! Lather, rinse, repeat.

I'm facinated by media, especially good advertising. I have a sick facination with redneck humour.

I'm complex, but not reserved; I'm intelligent, but not superior; I'm confident, but not cocky (well, not /that/ cocky). I can be crude and charming, funny and serious, dark and cheerful.

I love being barefoot both outdoors and in my home. I also like wandering around in my underwear, but usually only in my apartment. Usually.

If you describe yourself as "normal", you should be aware that a) there is no such thing as normal; b) I probably want nothing to do with you.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm gainfully self-employed, ambitious, and really, truly, deeply adore my job. My business partners and employees are all friends, so work isn't that hard to deal with.

I've recently started a new project that feels like it could be the Next Big Thing In My Life.

I’m really good at

Telling stories, cooking, getting people to do things they didn't think they wanted to, finding good places to eat, making people laugh at things they should be offended by, reminding people they are capable of /anything/, convincing people to do things they didn't think they wanted to do.

The first things people usually notice about me

My height, probably - I've got a pretty imposing presence. However, if you were in the same room as me and not looking at me, my laugh is the first thing you'll notice. I've been told it's both gregarious and infectious.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The six things I could never do without

Friends, laughing, wine, thai or indian food, dirty sex...

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Why people misuse apostrophes. Handy action tip: don't use one when pluralizing.

Boy's does not mean more than one boy.

Book's does not mean more than one book.

School's does not mean more than one school.

Grammar Nazi's does not mean more than one Grammar Nazi.

I am one of the Grammar Nazis. I'm proud of that.

Oh, and if your profile contains a lot of things to the effect of "me an ur mom r gon 2 kik ur a$$", perhaps, and I mean this constructively, you should consider revising it because you sound like a retard.

I also wonder at some length about why people think it's alright to talk in movie theatres.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out with friends, shaking my moneymaker or watching movies either on DVD or in the theatre, eating out at some tasty restaurant, or snoozing after a long week. Actually, I snooze a lot on Fridays, come to think of it.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't trust people who don't drink, or for that matter vilify foods (meat, carbs, broccoli, whatever).

For years I've been telling people that I'm the worst person they know. No one ever believes me when I tell them this. "Oh AtOddsWithYou," they say, naively, "you're so funny." Weeks, months, even years later, they understand, after being convinced to do things they never thought they would. "I should have listened," they say, and yet still fall prey to my suggestions.

I actually just realized today that I'm like the voice that crazy people hear in their heads. "You should totally drink that entire 2L bottle of spiked lemonade", or "You don't have to take that -- punch that sucker!"

... Hey, I have good ideas, is that so wrong?

You should message me if

You want me to toy with your emotions and generally leave you a hollow shell of yourself, wondering how your life could possibly continue.

Alternately, if you've answered more than 1000 questions and have a less than 5% match with me, I'd love to know what's wrong with you.
