I'm a high energy gal who likes to stay active in NYC as much as staying at home with a good book or movie. I adore my 60 lb dog (Border Collie)...he's great with people, kids & other animals. I work for the #1 Cancer Hospital in the world by day. By night I run a theatre company in Manhattan and direct shows for other companies. I do have spare time inside all that, believe it or not, and would love to give someone special some of that extra time.

The person I'm looking for will have their own life outside of "us" but want to include me in his every now and again and he'd want to be part of my life. I'd love to find a guy who's young at heart and still has adventure in him to do stuff in the city like go to museums, parks, movies, restaurants, or even bike down the island. I also want him to be happy to just have "us" time...I suppose I like a good balance. :)

I am willing to provide affection, attention, appreciation, honesty, support, time to himself w/o me and special time with me. I would like to receive the same. But most importantly...I want a partner I can trust and love for who they are, as they are...and vice versa.

I am working one job that I love to pay to do the job I love more, theatre. Someday I'll only have to run my theatre company and when that day comes...it'll be wonderful!

I'm good at communication, talking to people I don't know or in public in front of people I don't know, teaching, directing, choreography, cooking, writing, and designing sets for theatre shows.

Movies: I like every kind of movie except horror. Sorry. I also don't like all chick flicks...1/2 of the ones that come out just look stupid and a waste of my time. Yet...I do love good action/adventure movies...no matter how silly the plot looks.

Music: I live a little of it all...minus Country Music. I prefer industrial, pop, dance, some goth, and 80's stuff.

TV: 24; Greys Anatomy; New Amsterdam; Lipstick Jungle; Bionic Woman; Terminator; and Buffy/Angel/Firefly...when they were on TV still (not counting sydication of course).

I spend a lot of time thinking about the creative stuff in my life and my friends.

Honestly? Friday night is my night to be home, relaxing with a big, nice dinner I cook for me (and maybe me and my roommates) and I/we watch TV. It's the "wind down" of the week so that on Sat/Sun I can have energy to attack them head on! :)

I of course have Friday nights I go out to see shows or go to parties or meet up with friends at a bar...but usually, I'm home cause on Saturday and Sunday I'm out and about more.

I have a odd fondness for Renaissance paintings...I like to brush my dog...I'm not fond of the taste of alcohol...I wear glasses...and....uh...I dye my hair.

You should message me if you not only like how I look but if you like what I've had to say about me and what I'm looking for. I'm independent but need a man in my life...and I understand the difference. I would hope you do too. Cause just cause a woman is independant doesn't mean she doesn't need you. :)
