My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a masculine guy, also pretty intellectual and sensitive, that doesn't worry to much about life's circumstances because I know in the end it will all work out. Not that I'm lazy, I believe in hard work and doing what needs to be done, but I just don't let what needs to be done stress me out. My relationship with God is very important to me, but I choose to share it mostly through example or with individual study for those interested. I find humor and beauty all around me in every situation and can always make others laugh.

I am a libertarian to the core, in that I believe people should have the right to be happy as long as that doesn't infringe on the happiness of another. So even though I have a set view on things and firm morals I sometime answer a question in a way that would seam to conflict with those morals, but really it is just because the action would only possibly affect me and/or the person making the decision and in most cases I don't really take offense so it is a moot point and I just answer in favor of personal rights.

I'm open about my faith and my sexuality, but I don't go out of my way to make sure everyone knows about it, just don't worry about hiding it. I love to learn, explore and travel, but mostly I love to share my experience and understanding with others especially a partner I could share the rest of my life with. I am open to any and all questions, but be warned not to ask questions you don't want frank and openly honest answers to.

I am enlisted in the Army as a Chaplain assistant and hoping to move up to Chaplain as soon as I finish my bachelors. Currently stationed at Fort Hood Texas.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Always though my overall drive in life is constantly seeking truth and understanding about how and why things work the way they do, this is connected to and driving everything else in my life from relationships to choices and actions I make. Following that pursuit of truth I have gone into the army to share understanding with those hurting soldiers risking life and limb for our liberties.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Communicating my ideas and ideas between other people that otherwise would cause them confusion. In school kids would always gather around my desk after the teacher got done explaining the lesson so that I could explain what the teacher said in a way that made sense. I find myself all the time in a situation where I hear someone say something and another person takes it wrong and I know exactly how to explain it and understand why they misunderstood to begin with. I really like doing volunteer work and just being of service to others.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most people tell me that I look pretty smart, even before they find out that I am, by talking with me. Probably also notice that I'm shy at first, and though my friends deny it, I tend to be a bit antisocial, mostly because I detest idle chit chat, typical aspergers stuff . I also have a pretty muscular build, army doesn't care about much else aside from being in good shape.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I've read extensively from the works of Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, Arthur C. Clark, Orson Scott Card and Frank Herbert. Also really love the Wheel of Time series, my favorite series is the Foundation series by Asimov, but my favorite book of all time is Ender's Game. Movies are similar, any sci-fi is fun to watch and poke fun at usually, I would say my top three movies though would be Good Will Hunting, Fight Club, and The Watchmen. Music I like mostly includes worship music, but I like folk, indie and pop as well.

I love most food, long as it isn't spicy. I have what some call a bland palate, because I enjoy simple foods, I don't put salt or butter on my potatoes for example because I love the rich taste of them plain. Stuff like balsamic vinegar with a really strong taste is a bit over powering and actually detracts from my enjoyment of the food. I love Chinese and Mexican food, but my favorite would be Italian.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My relationship with God
Being close with my family
My friends
Books
Internet access
Good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Gah.. like everything. I spend too much time thinking about possibilities , not because I worry, but just because I'm very curious. I love to contemplate the impact and ramifications of many disciplines of thoughts on each other though. I think to only focus on economics, psychology, sociology, theology, or philosophy for example would be to deny yourself a full understanding of each subject. People work too hard to categorize things when we should be connecting things and understanding their patterns.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I prefer to just hanging out with friends and/or family, love to get in an occasional LAN Party or board game.

Lately though I'm usually spending my Fridays recovering from working out and getting ready to hurt myself some more on Saturday lol.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Anything I'm asked no matter how personal. I spent most my life lying about myself and as a matter of principle will not lie anymore, but I'm not obsessed with forcing knowledge about me on others, so I have a policy of not telling people things unless they ask or need to know and then I'm very open and honest about it.

You are g0y, christian, into sci-fi, in the military or just like to debate stuff.

You have anything relevant to say or are curious about something. I don't mind light conversation to get things started, but I kinda have a pet peeve about talking about pointless stuff all the time just to talk. If I have nothing to add to a conversation I just listen.

Like it says above, I don't really mind personal questions, if you have any interest in getting to know more about me don't hesitate to ask or strike up a deep conversation on about any topic, I'm very very hard to offend and a very reciprocal conversationalist.

Also always willing to talk to soldiers looking for spiritual guidance as long as you can accept that a man attracted to other men can be used by God to spread his word just like any other person.
