I am caring, intelligent, and artistic.

My Self-Summary

Hey there! Basically, I'm an actor. I just completed my sophmore year at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and I'm pretty happy with how it went. I love acting and singing, and sometimes will start a scene, monologue, or song at times that will look pretty random to other people -- but trust me, inside my head, it all made perfect sense.

Most of the time, anyway.

I'm usually not all that much for making jokes -- although get me in a good enough mood and you'll get a zinger or two. And so...yeah, there's a lot more to me than that, but I think I'll cover that in other categories.

And then there's my interests. I love to read, novels particularly. I've got tons of favorite writers, primarily in the science fiction, fantasy, and alternate history genres. I find the last especially fascinating; I love history, which is why I love the books so much, I suppose.

I would just like to take a moment to say, while I am enjoying this site, I'm not looking to find anyone to date here at this time. I am currently in a committed relationship.

What I’m doing with my life

Well, I'm a student at NYU, so I'm working pretty hard, and usually keep very busy. Life is good, and I like it. When I'm not at NYU, I work in a high school as a Teacher's Assistant Substitute in the Special Ed. department, and I've recently discovered how much I really love doing that. I'm seriously considering continuing my education part-time once I'm done at NYU, and working towards getting my teacher's certification. I also work as a sort of acting coach pro bono at a small local theatre group for teens during the summers.

Generally, I have to say, I love what I'm doing.

The first things people usually notice about me

are my smile and my sincerity.

Music:
An eclectic mix of show tunes, movie and video game soundtracks, Beatles, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Simon and Garfunkel, Max Richter, The Chieftains, John Denver, classical and jazz piano, Frank Sinatra, Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová, and a couple of audiobooks for good measure.

Food:
I'm really not that picky. I like just about everything, as long as it's not Chinese or Japanese (sushi is an exception. Love sushi).

The six things I could never do without

My family
My friends
My books
My music
The Theatre

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Who I am, who my friends are, what my friends are doing, why my friends do what they do, why I do what I do... in a word, people. Also different philosophies, politics, religion, and all sorts of things.

On a typical Friday night I am

Probably at home, hopefully with my friends. I might be out, depends on what's going on, but I'm usually not the one to suggest we all go out, unless it's to get dinner.

You should message me if

I sound interesting or you'd like to get to know me.

That's about it, thanks for reading! :)
