My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, my name is Alex and here are some things you should know about me. I'm an outgoing, very eccentric, carefree person who likes video games. I also love to read on my spare time and listen to music.

I love playing/reading about/ discussing Magic: The Gathering card game and video games. I'm in an extremely happy relationship right now. I'm looking for outgoing people to hang out with in my free time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working at Staples in Riverside. When I'm not at work I'm usually hanging out with my girlfriend or looking for an engineering job. During the summer months I visit my grandmother's summerhouse in Long Island, NY, where I spend my time either jet skiing or tubing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at being myself. I'm really bad at answering what I'm good at. I used to be really good at advanced math like calculus... I was pretty good at speaking German once upon a time... but lack of use in these things has really atrophied those skills. Not that I find advanced mathematics particularly helpful when meeting new people.
I'm really good at being spontanious and trying new things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm eccentric to the level commonly referred to as "weird". I've long since decided that being normal is both too hard and not worth it. It's my philosophy that being normal is not only overrated but no fun as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm also going to cheat and mostly list genres with examples since I can't pick out my favorites.

+Anything by Stephen King (Fav.=Dark Tower series)
+Magic: The Gathering series
+Science Fiction

+Action (with decent plot) (Bourne Series, The Avengers, Die Hard Series, Terminator Series)
+Action (w/o decent plot) (Expendables, 300, Wrath of the Titans)
+Horror/Suspense (except really torturous movies like "Saw") (28 Days Later, Resident Evil series, Aliens series, Predator series)

I really don't watch TV much these days since I'd rather use my free time playing video games (which I view as interactive TV) but here are some shows I like to watch but are not necessarily caught up with the latest episodes/seasons.

+The Big Bang Theory
+How I Met Your Mother
+Family Guy
+The Walking Dead
+Robot Chicken
+Colbert Report
+The Daily Show w/ John Stewart

My music selection is vast and samples a very broad range of genres from Classical music (think Beethoven) to some rap. It would be easier to list genres I don't like (mainly country and metal). However I mostly listen to:
+Classic Rock

My eating habits consist mostly of eating what tastes good.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Video games

*not in that order
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of my time analyzing my surroundings from a logical and scientific standpoint. I try to figure out how things work and why they work that way and if they were different, how would that effect their surroundings.
I also spend what feels like an unusual amount of time thinking about thinking. (Such as what I would say if someone suddenly came up to me and asked me what I was thinking about).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either recovering from a long week at work by sitting at my computer playing video games. Either that or sometimes out at a local bar trying to be social.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love to dance at bars and whatnot but usually only after a few drinks. My dancing draws lots of attention and sometimes even respect but it's mostly just me making it up.
