I am good enough, smart enough, and doggone it...
My Self-Summary
My name is Amanda. I love artichokes dipped in butter. Well... most
things are pretty good dipped in butter.
I like to play rockband with my friends, and watch fight
nights.
I'm a singer/songwriter. I've been writing songs my whole life
pretty much and now I go to school at Berklee College of Music in
Boston. I love the school, but I don't really like the city very
much. Hopefully I'll get more used to it.
I'm a massage therapist. I've been doing that for about two and a
half years. I like it ok. It gets repetitive. I can't wait until I
can have a career in music.
I want to live on a boat for a year. Not a house boat. More like a
sail boat or something cool like that. It would be small, kind of
like living in a camper, but I think it would be really fun. I will
probably do it off the coast of L.A. or somewhere like that where
it always stays warm. I'd also like to live in London for a couple
years at some point.
What I’m doing with my life
MUSIC!!!
I keep going back and forth debating stopping music school to go to
school for medicine because I know medicine would be a good career
and it would be rewarding and satisfy my superhero fantasies, but I
really love music, so I'm probably going to stay in school for
that. Hopefully I'll be successful though. I think I have what it
takes.
I’m really good at
Making people feel comfortable being themselves.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know. I've never asked. A lot of people say I look smart,
whatever that means.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Book: Dune
Movie: Fight Club (although it's really dark, so I have to be in
the right mood to watch it)
Music: Yes (if "yes" is the name of a band or a song, that's not
what I meant)
Food: There should really be subcategories for this. I like steamed
artichokes with butter.
The six things I could never do without
Friends. Family. Chocolate milk. Music. Sleep. and Fun.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I should go to school for.
On a typical Friday night I am
With my friend Wade, either watching The Office or doing some kind
of physical activity. Tonight we watched G.I. Joe. I laughed for
the whole second half, it was great.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I don't know, write me and I'm sure private things will come up in
conversation. I'm a pretty open person.
You should message me if
You're cute, witty, fun, smart, um... good with words, up for
adventures, etc. Oh, and female. Sorry boys, I'm gay.
