A year ago, I was helping my friend writing his OkCupid profile, it seemed like the easiest thing to do. Now it's my turn to write my own profile...ough...where is my Hitch?? Anyway, let's give it a try!

Born and raised in Taiwan, I speak Mandarin like it's my first language (oh wait..it is actually!) Followed my wanderlust, I came to the US..speaking little English. 4 years later, I managed to graduate from a college in a peaceful city...Philadelphia. Peaceful is not the word for a 23 years old girl who's ready for some adventure and fun. So here I am, in my favorite city of the world-- NYC.

One of the best things about NYC is the diversity of the food you can get here. Being a big food fan, I enjoy trying all kinds of food, then wandering around aimlessly to explore this city and burn off the fat! If walking around is not enough, a little time in the gym would be nice too. But biking in central park, rock climbing, horseback riding or some salsa/swing dance would be even better! After all these exciting activities, some quite and relaxing time is much needed. Movies and TV shows on Netflix, a book in hands, drawing a monster or two, sipping a cup of tea on a cold cold day, oh, what else can be better?
Wait, what? You know something else is even better than this? Please do show me! :)

I am a full-time job seeker. Being a resume sending machine is my main responsibility. This job also requires me to travel up to 90%....to midtown, downtown, here and there in the city for interviews. Although this job gives me a lot of free time, it is an unpaid position....I　would really like to trade this job for something else ASAP. Let me know if you would like to trade your job with me. This is an entry level position. I sure you will just do fine :P

Although I am 100% Asian, I am not good at any kind of kung fu. (Sorry to disappoint you) I, however, am an expert in caring for others and being honest. These two are what I am really good at. Besides that, I am also very good at being loyal, sweet, and being a good listener...(which means it would be great if you are a talker :P)

Umm...this is a hard one...

A lot of people said this to me "Audrey, when I first met you, I thought you are all cool and distant. But when I really get to know you, you are so sweet and caring!"

So yeah, don't get scared away. I am just kinda shy and quite at first :)

Book: Murakami Haruki's (村上春樹) books. I love to read, but I just don't read that much in English..cuz i read them too slow..

I like documentary quite a lot.

TV shows: Lost, Heroes, House M.D., family guy, firefly, sex and the city, Seinfeld, Grey's anatomy, top chef, friends, The Office, Californication

Music: Jazz, Modest Mouse, MGMT, Lou Reed, Oasis, Radiohead, Damien Rice, Moby....not enough! Please give me some suggestions to add on my list!

Food: ALL

Internet and text message, music, family and friends, coffee, good food, keep learning and trying new things

Why it takes so long to write this profile....= =

Pretty much just like any other night...dine out with friends in east village. The night would get even better if it follows by a live music/jazz bar, or some interesting shows here and there.

Although I have so much love for food, I can't even cut a bagel....an unevenly cut bagel with cream cheese and salmon might be the fanciest meal I can make. How sad..

I am here mainly for meeting new friends to hang out with.
So if you are cool with that, let's have some fun together!
And if there's a mutual connection between us...maybe we can take it from there :)

I like a nerdy guy who has a bunch useless(or useful) knowledge in his head..intelligence (both IQ and EQ) is a real turn on for me.

On the more serious side...

I like a guy who can be perfectly content even when he's alone,
yet still able to be sociable when needed.
People in this city are too scared of loneliness. I don't just want anyone to be there to get rid of my loneliness, I want someone whom I can connect with.
And most importantly...he has to have a great heart. Always try to do the right thing and treat people right.
