My Self-Summary
My only real claim to fame is that, for about a year and a half,
lived in Galway, Ireland, after completing my MA in Culture and
Colonialism. I
work as a bookseller, and see this as the most enjoyable form of
retail (if retail can be seen as enjoyable). I occupy a goodly
portion of my spare time doing theater (chiefly musical theater) as
a performer, stage manager, and (most recently) director.
I'm into arts, literature and like learning about most anything, so it's not usually hard to carry on a conversation with me, which is great, because I love listening and exchanging ideas on life, politics, that certain je ne sais quoi of Alan Rickman's voice, or the benefits of eating Taco Bell over Taco John's. Anyhow, I like going out or staying in, just as long as it's with someone who interests me mentally, spiritually, physically or emotionally. If you're up to the challenge or at least some good craic, let me know!

What I’m doing with my life
Working the daily grind (schlepping books and magazines), enjoying
the days off, heading to the theater, dreaming of Ireland!
