Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been told that I'm not the kind of guy you want to bring home
from a bar, but the kind you want to bring home to meet the
parents. Personally, I'm fine with that. I'm far from dull and I
still go out drinking with friends on occasion, but my wild college
past is long behind me.
I try to keep a tight-knit group of friends. That said, that
tight-knit group always seems to get bigger, for some reason, which
is fine with me. I treat my friends like my family, which sometimes
bites me in the butt.
Other than that, I'm a laid-back guy who tries to worry about
bigger issues and not small details. I'll readily admit I'm a
dreamer with my head in the clouds, but that always isn't a bad
I am sarcastic, intelligent, and nerdy
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just got out of a long-term relationship, so I'm still getting my
legs back under me with this whole "single" thing. I have no idea
what is acceptable anymore. I mean, really, Snapchat? Tinder? What
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
..getting along with people. I guess I have a high empathy score on
some of these tests. I'm one of those guys who understands that
people can have differences of opinion and still have a civil
conversation about other things. Guess it comes from being a
liberal in Kansas.

My eyes, so I'm told. I'm not particularly "OMG HOT," but I'm told
my eyes sparkle, or something like that. Either that, or I'm
usually with a group of friends talking loudly about one thing or
another, and that gets people to notice.

I love cooking, but sometimes am too lazy to. If you can cook good
chicken and mashed potatoes, you will be loved forever.
I haven't read books for a long time. Previous jobs required me to
read almost constantly (long, boring magazine articles), so I
haven't yet picked up a book I really enjoy. When I do, it will
likely be a nonfiction political or historical book.
I listen to just about any kind of music. I play the guitar (or try
to, not terribly good), so I try to appreciate all types of music.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My computer
4. My KU jacket
6. family.... yes, the last two are cliche.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, politics, anything that my mind thinks up at any given time.
I've done some stream of consciousness writing, and I'm fairly
certain a clinical trial is in order.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to get away from my computer, hanging out with friends over
a couple beers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have this weird hobby of imagining myself writing popular, modern
day songs and/or shows, and then traveling back in time and
presenting them as my own, and imagining the reactions of people.
Yes, it's nerdy. And I have no idea why my mind works that way.
