Well, unlike nearly all the people here, I have zero interest in
hiking, biking, running, diving or anything else that will put me
at risk of sweating. I like to walk, at the pace that doesn't
transform the landscape into blurry streaks of green and blue and
allows me to find, watch and take photographs of many colorful,
weird, or terrifying things growing or lurking in the grass.
Are you still here? Good. :)
Personality-vise, if you have seen "Mythbusters" or "Schrek", than
it's easy: I am a female version of Jamie looking for Adam. Or
Shrek looking for Donkey. Not a typical description for a lady,
perhaps, but remember - ogres have layers..
What I’m doing with my life
First of all, I work. 8 to 5, Monday to Friday. Evening is a
low-energy, relax-at-home time for me, therefore, fun part of life
has to fit into a weekend/ vacation schedule.
I’m really good at
not caring about smartphones, politics, sports, religion, status
and sugarcoating the truth. Thin-skinned people beware. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
deafening silence, stone-calm face, armor-piercing stare..really,
given the present location, people most likely notice my currently
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
way too many to list here..I prefer books to movies, although
"watch movie first, read the book later" approach sometimes works.
It did for LOTR, but the "making of TLOTR" documentary was actually
the best part. I also enjoy animation, and some of my very
favorites are "The nightmare before Christmas" (and anything else
from T. Burton) , "Wallace And Gromit" (all the movies), "Operavox"
(particularly "Rigoletto" and "Magic Flute" parts), "Mary and Max"
,"Coraline", "Harvie Krumpet", and many others.
The six things I could never do without
Hmm..ok, 6 things I can _exist_ without, yet I would not call that
1) warmth and comfort. I can't stand being cold, both physically
2) stability and reasonable expectations for the future to be
3) new things to learn, to experience and to make.
4) time alone, a must for the introvert.
5) nature, from nearby park to forest, from creek to sea, from hill
6) beauty in all its manifestations - beautiful things, good
looking people, elegant equations and expressive language.
7) my camera! (oops)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where the silly, boring, cold, unreliable, controlling,
not-fun-loving, etc. guys are? There are none on this site..I guess
they are all married or girlfriended.
Also: where to go on the next vacation; are there 11 dimensions in
our universe or just 10; why DSLR cameras are so heavy and when
mirrorless ones will be good enough to consider buying; is there
really someone I can be happier with than on by my own; do I need
to improve myself and how..and so on, and so forth.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home, enjoying a relaxing evening or going out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate cinnamon and honey.
You should message me if
you are capable of saying something actually interesting in your
message and, preferably but not necessarily, a ENFP. :)
