i am a romantic sap at heart.
i love early jackie chan movies.
i both love and hate movies that make me cry.
i am a fan of cheesy chick flicks on occasion.
i love country boys :)

i'm very outgoing with friends but usually shy around people i don't know - especially in large groups.
i love to crochet
i love ultimate frisbee
i love playing cards, especially Setback, rummy, egyptian war, etc.
i also really enjoy other games
i enjoy watching offbeat movies and foreign films
i like going to my friend's house to listen to the blues while we cook dinner
nothing beats an evening thunderstorm in the summer
I love summer rain. especially sitting on the porch while listening to and watching it.
i love the snow that comes down in perfect crystals.
i love mixed CDs my friends make.
i think tattoos that have meaning are more fascinating then those that are just body decor. But I don't think there's anything wrong with body decor, either.
i love camping and bonfires
i like going bike riding on a bike path - not fond of biking down the roads in boston, yet.... a bit nervous i'll get hit.
Spring and autumn are my favorite seasons. There are so many colors and so many smells in those 2 months!

I want a compliment, not a completion. I'm already complete.
I want a companion.

I'm working at a school for kids with special needs. I'm a teaching assistant in a deaf/blind program by day, a fancy schmancy legal assistant by evening, a spectacular teddy bear by night, with other bits of fabulousity strewn throughout the day :)

I'm really good at finding the positive in most situations.
I've been told I'm great at playing piano. I think I'm okay. I used to be good :)
I think I crochet alright. I can't read patterns, so I make things randomly - which means everything is quite unique.
I'm pretty good at being a friend!

I mean, the first thing people notice about anyone is something physical. So if I had to guess... people usually notice my eyes. otherwise.. it's my sometimes quirky personality, I s'pose

Books...
I just finished a few really good books.
"Poisonwood Bible" was fantastic.
"What is the What" was phenomenal.
I also really enjoyed "Eat, Pray, Love".
I've been reading Christopher Moore - "Lamb" is hilarious.
Of course, there's "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and yes... I'm guilty of liking "Harry Potter". I'll grow up someday ;0)

Movies...
what don't I like? that might be the better question. I don't know.. movies are hit or miss depending on my mood. I recently watched "The Namesake", though, and I really like it. I'm a big fan of foreign and indie films. I don't always remember the names of the foreign flicks, though, although Amelie was easy to remember ;)

Music...
Basically everything. I'm not huge into the death metal, rap, reggaeton, or newer r&b and pop stuff. I can manage an appreciation for it, but I don't love it. Otherwise, I enjoy everything else. Blues, classical, bluegrass, country, acoustics... all that stuff!
Right now, I've been listening to a lot of Andrew Bird, Vampire Weekend, Paranoid Social Club, Liam Finn, Bon Iver, and Jack Johnson.

Food...
What DON'T I like? lol! I'm a glutton! Just kidding. I'm not crazy about excessively fried things or salty things. I love ethnic foods, and I'll try most things at least once (if it's something really gross, just don't tell me what it is before I try it) - example, I've tried chicken hearts. They weren't terrible, but I didn't love them. However, now that I know what they are I won't touch 'em!).

everything... where i'm going in life... what i want to do forever... how i feel about where i am compared to where i'm going... traveling - both nationally and internationally - and if i'll have enough time and money to do it. i think about movies and books i enjoy and ones that i haven't yet had the chance to enjoy, but think i would. probably a lot of the same stuff that everyone else thinks about. and then some weird things that just periodically drift through my head that aren't standing out to me at the moment.

doing whatever i want. working, relaxing, spending time with friends, playing cards, at a bar, at a music show, in bed, watching a movie, cooking or baking. whatever i want.
