My self-summary
There is so much about me I want to share, and I could easily write a book on my life. I might do that some day, too. However, it's hard to sum up a lot of it without giving the background stories. My existence has been far from boring, but it may be too dramatic, too intense for a lot of people. I'm afraid to write an over-abundance, but I suppose I'll share some important things about myself.

Honestly, I seem to fascinate people in many different ways. For example, a good friend once told me my life was like a soap opera on crack. I think "on hallucinogens" is probably more accurate, though. I am extremely open about my past and my present, and it most likely scares people because they're not used to others being so willing to tell them their trials and tribulations.

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Here are some of my "qualifications": I love science fiction, especially Star Trek: Voyager, Star Wars, and Stargate SG-1/Atlantis. I also enjoy the Lord of the Rings...but I never really understood why that's often considered nerdy. I was part of a Star Wars role playing game, and I wish to participate in more in the future. I like anime, computers, and books. I like to study philosophy and religion in my spare time. Oh, and here's the kicker: As for the religion I have adopted...well, I'm a Jedi. A Light Jedi to be more specific. And just to clarify, Jediism has more to it than what the movies portray.

Some of my favorites:

Genres of music - Techno and Hard Rock

Movies - A Beautiful Mind, K-PAX, Gattaca, Run Lola Run, Amlie, Better Than Chocolate, Girl Interrupted

Foods - Pasta with marinara sauce, grilled chicken caesar salad

Beverages - Mountain Dew, cranberry juice, lemonade

Books - Anthem by Ayn Rand, The Parable of the Talents & The Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

Actor - Kevin Spacey

Actresses - Kira Knightly, Liv Tyler

Restaurant - Olive Garden

Fast Food Places - Wendy's, Subway

Color - Green

Quotes - "I'm not trying to kill myself. I'm trying to see if I'm still alive." ~B'Elanna Torres, STVOY "Ford, you're turning into a penguin. Stop it." ~ Arthur, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Clothing Styles - Vintage, clean/sleek/sophisticated

I am open-minded, respectful, and genuine

What I’m doing with my life
Working a lot lately as a security guard. I want to major in linguistics.
I’m really good at
Drawing, writing, speaking French, mediating (you know...helping people to get along better).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've listed all those already in the first section.
The six things I could never do without in material possessions? If that's the case, then:

1) My glasses...'cause I like to see. Seeing is good. 2) Books. I'm counting all of them as one thing. :) 3) An automobile because I'm not willing to walk everywhere, especially when it's state-to-state travel or something. 4) Clothes. For legal purposes. 5) Modern technology (Don't you love how I group lots of items into one thing?) 6) Nutritional nourishment.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
(In no particular order) religion, philosophy, my bf Kyle, languages, memories.

LOL! Funny how I make the following comment, and the question magically CHANGES! "I like the grey, lumpy mass I already have in my skull, thank you very much. (Note: I've been told this basic idea of wanting to keep one's own brain is a rather common concept in these profiles. This leads me to wonder why the prompt is still there.)"

On a typical Friday night I am
Sleeping because I have to wake up at 6 the next morning to go to work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
So many things I'm willing to admit... Wow. But okay. I've been in a psychiatric hospital six times within the past three years or so...and that's as a patient, not a visitor/worker.
