Well, I'm a nerd. Let's get that out of the way first. I enjoy playing video games and watching anime. I like reading, whether it's comics, novels, manga, or what have you, reading is something I enjoy very much. I also like playing pen and paper rpg's like D& D (3. 5 only, 4. 0 isn't D& D...) and I'm currently running a game of Exalted that's been going off and on for about a year now.

I don't like clubs, or bars, or things like that. I can appreciate a good drunken party every now and then, and I have been known to head out with buddies to a club or bar, but such things happen very rarely. On a scale of once every 3-4 months.

That's not to say I never get outside. I get together with friends to run around the hills shooting each other with airsoft guns. I use an ARES DSR-2 sniper rifle, in case such things interest you. I also...uh... well, I guess that's about it. I went hiking once out here. I could be talked into doing it again.

So, most of my free time is spent at home. And that's how I like it. I like hanging out with my friends, at their place or mine. Watching movies or playing games. Or even just chilling out by myself with a a good book.

So, that's enough about me for now. If you want to know more, just ask. I'm in the Navy, and work close to 90 hours a week (my longest in port week was 119 hours long) so I might take a day or so to get back to you. Hmm... Well, I can roll a D&D 3.5 character from memory up to about level 5ish. Then things start getting fuzzy. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not. Did I mention that I'm a nerd?

That I'm short? I used to wear glasses, but I had Lasik eye surgery and defeated them.

Books: Anything by Jim Butcher. Sergei Lukyanenko's Night Watch series. The Stand, It, and most of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. The Killer Angels was good...

Comics: Kingdom Come, anything by Warren Ellis (especially Transmetropoliton), Fables, Y: The Last Man, Marvel's Civil War series (and their House of M series, and Secret Invasion), Powers, Akira, Tsubasa (yes, I know it's very cutesy at times, but I like it).

Movies/TV: Battlestar Galactica (the new series), Dr. Who, Torchwood, Rome, Carnival, Farscape, Firefly, Space: Above and Beyond, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell (1st movie and series), Jin Roh, City of God, Aliens, Grave of the Fireflies. More that I forget...

I've done without a lot of things. Other than food/air/water those kinds of things, I could manage without pretty much anything.

Running through aft crews berthing naked to get to my battle station. I had been in the middle of a shower when the alarm went off. Getting dressed while running and wet from a shower with soap in your hair and eyes? Not something I ever want to do again.
