My self-summary
I'm thoroughly convinced that everyone is terrible at describing themselves this way. Inevitably we all minimize our weaknesses, and conveniently forget to mention our stint in jail (I mean my -- no I mean *your* jail time! Yeah, that's it) Oh and be sure to mention one offbeat thing (but cool in an iconoclastic way) one endearing personality quirk (so you think) then a bunch of generic stuff like "I like to have fun" or "I like to laugh and do stuff" so you don't seem too weird or anything.

Really?! Me too! I like to do stuff, and other times I like to not do stuff! We have so much in common.

Prose is a profoundly poor purveyor of personality.

Ok ok, I'll tell you one thing about me:
I don't think I'm as smart as I think I am, but I know I'm not half as smart as I think I want to be. Wait, What?

I'm blatantly stealing this quote from Zxena because its so true: "Instead of going on about how amazing my life is, I will admit that for all the amazing shit I do it's pretty boring to be doing it alone."

Ciao a tutti! Come state?

Sono un ragazzo ordinario, però molto gentile e affascinante. Sto cercando per nuovi amici per le avventure. La vita è troppa corta per restare immobile. Contattarmi se tu vuoi sapere più!

I am adventurous, alliterative, and awsomerific

What I’m doing with my life
A little bit of everything! I have no idea where I'm going to end up in the long term because that depends so much on events I cannot predict -- I prefer to be adaptable instead of rigid and inflexible. I'm definitely working on several goals though; There are things I know I want out of life, but as for the rest -- I'm just looking forward to many more amazing experiences that will change my views and change my life in ways I can't even imagine yet. Adventure, discovery, exploration both in terms of eduction and travel make life worth living. I don't know what I'd do without opportunities to grow and learn. So far I've done things like make wine, build a boat out of cardboard; I've backpacked solo and crossed an ocean on a sailboat; I've made bacon sushi and bottle fed litters of kittens.

And I've honestly had a bit of a late start on all this adventuring, but I'm not letting that stop me. I find that opportunities are everywhere and life just gets better and better every year.

I’m really good at
I've got the whole pirate skill set: Fencing and sailing. Strange that I never thought to combine the two until someone pointed it out. Oh, and pillaging too! I also make a killer cheesecake, and pasta from scratch. I'm great at last-minute planning, and dealing with the unexpected. I'm good at fixing stuff, everything from household appliances to walls. I'm getting good at keeping a vegetable garden no matter where I am.

The first things people usually notice about me
My nose, and the fact that it's actually a chihuahua (it's the result of a horrible tortilla related accident in Mexico and the doctors just couldn't find a proper replacement donor in time.) I'm very sensitive about it so don't say anything when it barks.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
You know the one about that thing with the guy who was also in the other movie with that girl. No, the other one! Geeze, you're just not listening to me at all!

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. Vegetarian cooking. Where to travel next, what new adventure to try and how to finagle the time off of work for it. How to keep up with all the cool events going on around the bay. What to read next. Where to hike next. Houses. Projects. What's out there in the universe. How I need a giant off switch for my brain.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I really think about where all these women came from who list geeky interests in their profiles, like reading The Lord of the Rings. It's suddenly become socially acceptable to be a nerd, even a little cool. Is this new? Were you all nerdy a decade ago?
