Charty Goodness

The new feature on OKC is super cool! Check out the dating charts they let you make:
Agnostic and very serious about it.
Jul 21, 2009
I thought that was a hilarious combination of options. Please tell me someone else gets the joke!
What would a very serious agnostic be like? I can see them protesting outside of churches. "Hey hey / ho ho / what is out there I don't know!"
OKWierdness
Jul 2, 2009
What's up with people who are active on this site but listed as "seeing someone" or people who write in their profiles that they're not interested in dating.
I've seen the forum posts here -- you could get the same results over at Craiglists Rants & Raves.
Don't get me wrong, it doesn't bother me or anything, but if your significant other caught you hanging out at a singles bar, saying that you're just there for the drinks would probably make a lame excuse.
Are there a lot of people here just for friends? Did you join for the dates and stay for the tests? Other way around?
Bookstore Brawl
Mar 31, 2009
I think they do this on purpose. The staff, in a fit of boredom is looking to incite a brawl of biblical proportions (oh yes, I *meant* to write that!) Like they want some professor and a priest to be pulling each other's hair and calling each other names. "You misbegotten offspring of a failed evolutionary branch" "Burn in hell, you baby-killing heathen!"
There was certainly some tension in that aisle; I was afraid for the innocent bystanders, but then I realized the next closest section was romance and they might enjoy it.
More silly questions

I really think the writer of this question got suicide confused with euthanasia. The answers don't quite make sense. Saying it's always okay sounds like we should be encouraging it, like putting up big posters that say "Maybe in your next life, you'll be cool; don't wait to find out!"
Saying never also sounds like we can actually prevent it just by making it illegal or something. Like some suicidal person is going to be thinking "whoa, I was going to off myself, but that would be breaking the law!'" What are we going to do'; give them the death penalty?
Anyone who commits suicide was clearly someone in need of help. The tragedy is that they slipped through the cracks when salvation could be had. It's something that everyone would seek to prevent if they could, but sometimes you cant.
