I am independent, health conscious, physically active, career-minded, and looking for the same. I have strong morals and values, WYSIWYG. I know that I am in the minority, but I believe that marriage really is "until death do us part", and I will move mountains to that end. I grew up in a church-going Christian household, but am not active with any denomination. Call me more spiritual than religious, yet with many of the same core values. I'm pragmatic, approaching life as a positive realist, well-grounded and practical in decision making.

I am a 100% drug-free, athletic and health-minded individual, left-brained, goal-oriented, and career-driven but not career-obsessed. I am very committed to a healthy lifestyle, not a "granola head" per se, just sensible attention to eating right and exercise. And no, I don't need medz to play well with others!

And sorry, I have no "bathroom mirror" or "in my car" pix to post, I know, I'm a huge disappointment already! :)

The good news is I can cook, the bad news- it's not gourmet, and getting everything to come out hot at the same time can be rather exciting! But don't worry, I keep an arsenal of fire extinguishers in close proximity, and I've never had anyone leave my table hungry (or ill)! :) I enjoy being a host and entertainer, making dinner and having friends over for movie nights, etc.

I commute 100-200 miles per week on a bicycle (even in the summer), not because I have to, but because I can. :) Don't worry, I have a perfectly good car and pickup for when I need them, but both mostly stay in the garage. Beyond green, there is something liberating about commuting on a bicycle.

I'm a giver and nurturer at heart, and love pampering and spoiling the special person in my life, but I'm also looking for someone who understands that a good relationship is about reciprocity.

Well I don't know why people don't notice it, but I have never been complimented on my dashing great looks or Johnny Depp physique! (JK, //sarcasm off now :P) However people often do make remarks that I am easy to talk with and that I'm an intelligent conversationalist.

Most likely new business or investing ideas, and planning for the future, but this is not something I'm obsessed about. I also like to live in and enjoy the "here and now", so I don't spend a huge amount of time "contemplating life" either. :) But I do often wonder why OkCupid insists on matching me with so many people who have nothing more than a picture in their profile! :P

There is no such thing as a typical Friday, it really varies by week. But top three odds would on at a happy hour with friends, at the gym, or at home starting the weekend. Sometimes by Friday night I am really tired from the week and don't feel like being anything more than a homebody, it just all depends on the day.

I don't kiss on the first or second date, and I've never had a manicure or pedicure! (lol) And don't pay much mind to those little "personality trait" profile symbols, they keep changing every time I answer a few questions, I seriously doubt there is very much scientific weight in them! :)
