My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Up front, I am always striving to make Christ a larger part of my life. I am not perfect, but I try my hardest. I would like to say I go to church every Sunday but sometimes it doesn't happen.

I am quiet, calm, outgoing, and adventurous person. I love being outside (except when it is snowing like crazy) and I often make the effort to spend my free weekends in the mountains hiking or something of similar nature.

I am working full time with Uncle Sam for the time being but otherwise I work in the movie industry. I am in the National Guard, so full time military work is not consistent, it is just something that I do. When I have free time, I play the guitar, sing, and find peace hiking with my camera. I have been a professional photographer for roughly 8 years. Art as such, is one of my biggest passions. Recently I have been spending a lot of time studying on my own time, in and effort to further my career.

I enjoy the occasional city scene but I am not to crazy about the hustle and bustle of society these days. I keep to myself and enjoy the small things in life. I try to stay away from fads and the "in" things. Remaining humble and staying out of the craziness of life is important to me.
I do enjoy the "coffee shop" life however. Most often you can find me somewhere like this nose deep in a book or my computer. I also enjoy small quiet pubs on occasion. I am not a big drinker, but an occasional Blue Moon or glass of top shelf scotch is a nice treat.

I am very laid back and try to avoid conflict of any sort at pretty much all costs. I enjoy intelligent conversation and if an issue arises, I intend to handle it calmly and honestly.

People have told me I should relax, that I take life pretty seriously but personally I don't see it as taking life seriously. I try to stay educated in what is going on around me, and I don't get involved with things that simply don't matter (like crazy politics), I enjoy simplicity. Knowing how to laugh and find joy in small things of life is important to me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right Now:
- Career Development
- Photography Mentor/Coach
- Pursuing a degree in cyber security.

I work full time for the National Guard right now and am transitioning into the IT field. I am studying the Linux operating system and working on my Security+ Certification.

I don't have a lot of other things preoccupying my time, so the only thing I have left to do outside of work is study.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I really enjoy playing the guitar. I have played in a few small bands here and there and enjoy it a lot. I am out of practice now, but I sincerely miss the music "scene". I play country, blues, and Christian worship.

As well, I am very passionate about my photography and everything that goes along with it. I have mentored many in the art and my dream is to make it a sustainable source of income.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a good communicator, listener, and I am passionate about life, God, people, and my career.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

As far as books go,
I like to read all sorts of stuff. I can't say I have a favorite book.
Typically you can find me, when I do read, in something philosophical, related to politics, military history, culture, technology, or most of photography related.

I like the typical guy stuff, action-adventure, military, sci-fi, lots of bullets, pretty women, gore, etc. Probably the military in me that likes it.

Music = Everything.
My hero in music is Stevie Ray Vaughn.
I love the blues!
John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Norah Jones, and related are typically what I enjoy.

However, I also love
- Classic rock (Collective Soul, Pink Floyd, Boston, etc)
- Christian Rock (Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar, RED, Skillet, Avenged Sevenfold...)
- Country (Keith Urban, Garth Brooks..)

Some Techno and club music... (On my weird days)

Food? Everything...
I will try anything once. If it wont kill me I will eat it. :D
I think cheesecake and sushi would fall into my favorites list...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
God always comes first yo...
My Camera
My Family
My glasses! Yes, I am blind...
And I will stoop to it... My computer. Without it, I would not be able to accomplish much. It is kind of sad how much we come to depend on our technology!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life in general and how I may or may not be living my life according to Gods will.
I also spend a lot of time thinking about work, and how I can improve my quality of life so that I can benefit those around me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hitting up the message boards, researching, and answering questions. I am not a big "night life" guy unless it has to do with taking photos of the stars.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Private things are meant to be private right?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
~ You are Christian (this is important and pretty much non-negotiable)
~ You are confident in yourself both physically and emotionally.
~ You are not looking for a quick fix physically
~ You have more to say than "Hi, How are you?" or "You have a nice profile and I think we have a lot in common". Put some effort into it, just like you expect me to.

And please note:
If you are not willing to meet in person at some point, then please go to the next profile. Honestly, what's the point of me typing all of this out if you are not willing to meet whoever you are talking to?
