I'm a country boy by birth, adventurer by nature and Anthropology student in my off-time. On top of that I would say I'm a self-made man, coming from humble beginnings, applying my smarts, muscle and trickery to get to where I am today, and heading in the vague direction where I would like to go. But most importantly, doing so without ever losing sight of the people around me. I'm a people person, holding a positive view on everything and enjoying life without making it worse for others.
My interests reach far and wide, as do my tastes in life. On occassion my geek levels go off the charts and you'll see me hold (and usually lose) fierce Reddit debates, stand knee deep in dirt looking for rusty nails and play videogames round the clock. At other times I'll be overwhelmed by a surge of (cave-)manliness resulting in the occasional campfire, DIY project or trimmed bush. Then there's also the days where my adventure sense starts tickling, and I start making grand plans for dropping it all to go sail the seven sees (often while enthusiastically singing pirate songs). If any of these sounds like something you might be into we will surely get along just great.
I tend to see life as a path you walk by yourself, where you make your choices as to the route you take and where you should never trust the signs that point to shortcuts, because no matter how comfortable they feel, it's often the extra mile that holds the real treasure. In this regard I tend to contradict the mainstream, often ignoring social conventions or popular opinions in favour of making up my own mind based on a healthy mix of common sense and google knowledge.
