My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I never know what to put here. "I'm 29 and I live in Rohnert Park." But it already says that at the top. "I like writing short stories and watching anime in my spare time." But you'll find that out soon enough anyway. I feel like this section isn't really needed. What's something that doesn't fit in anywhere else? I always look on the bright side of things, even through tough times. I'm afraid of earthquakes even though I've lived in California all my life. I enjoy making people laugh, especially through my creative writing. I am easily amused. And I value honesty very highly. Anyway, welcome! Feel free to read on and message me if you feel so inclined. ^_^

There used to be an option on here to list the three words that best defined you. I miss that, so I'm listing them anyway:
I am positive, honest, and creative.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from Sonoma State University in 2011 with a B.A. in English, Creative Writing and I currently work at a hotel while I search for something related to my major. In the meantime, I enjoy life as much as I can. I ride my bike often, as it is my primary mode of transportation. I don't drive, but lately I've been thinking about how to go about getting my license (there is a long story behind why I don't drive). In my spare time, I hang out with friends from SSU and play Magic: The Gathering (it's a card game). I also enjoy playing video games and watching anime. And writing funny stories.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing. It is, after all, what I want to pursue a career in. I'm a great speller too. I'm also good at whistling. I have become good at it over the years because it's the only thing my cat responds to. Hmm, what else? Bowling. Quite good at that (my best is 190, but my average is more like 145). And......? Puzzles! (not the jigsaw variety) And singing! I love singing, but I rarely sing in front of others. :P I've also been told I'm a good listener.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am very polite. I am also extremely patient and understanding of others. Usually people are very surprised of my age since I look so young, which I suppose is a good thing.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family: I couldn't imagine life without my family. They have helped me immensely through the tough times in my life. I love them all so much.

Friends: They are the most important people in my life, aside from my family. Without my friends, I don't know where I'd be today.

Music: It's the universal language. It also helps me focus my thoughts. It helps my writing, since I type faster while listening to music.

My Glasses: I'm not blind without them, but I pretty much wouldn't be able to do anything that required vision, except reading a book. Work would be nearly impossible. I have something like 20/400 vision. It sucks.

Individuality: I love being my own person. I strive to be unique in every way. I am not a robot.

Anime: It's just too awesome!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lots of stuff. My friends and family and what's going on with them (I'm very interested in other peoples' lives). New ideas for my stories. Music (I'm always humming a tune if I'm by myself, :D). Whatever anime I'm currently watching. Lately, nothing too specific comes to mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably watching Friends or playing my new Wii. xD Otherwise I'm hanging out with friends at my place playing some Magic/video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a pretty open person. I don't have many secrets. Let's see. Can I think of anything? I'm a shy person, but people have told me they don't notice it. I also like to talk to myself when I'm alone. I'll carry on discussions and arguments with myself when no one else is around. It's more like putting a voice to my thoughts. Sometimes I'll do it in a British accent. xD Also, whenever really emotional scenes occur in movies and TV shows, I tear up. I can't help it.
