I'm a pretty friendly, open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people and talking about stuff. Like most people, I like going to the movies or out for other random activities, but typical stress relief for me involves spending time with a small group of friends playing games or talking. I hope to some day become a college professor and could talk for hours about the research that I do, because my career is something about which I am very passionate. I also greatly enjoy writing, singing, and listening to music, cooking, movies, books, video games, and other random things. I'm always willing to try new things, so even if your interests don't mesh entirely with mine, I'd be glad to hear about them.

I'm a graduate student at USF. I'm pretty much a nerd, but one of those cool ones from the movies. My eventual goal is to get my Ph.D. and become a professor at a university. I love to teach and love doing the research in my field. I'm enjoying being out on my own and planning for my future. I'm also a pretty fun guy, and I'm looking to meet new friends.

These are definitely changing all the time, but...

Food: Mostly Italian food, but I enjoy all kinds of different foods. I'm particularly fond of pizza, tacos, apples, and chocolate.

Music: Again, lots of different interests, but I typically don't listen to much rap, country, or heavy metal. I like music with a good, catchy melody that's fun to listen to. Some specific artists I enjoy include Michael Jackson, Sarah McLachlan, and The Beatles. One thing I really like doing is browsing YouTube to check out the remixes of these songs that people have done, where even taboo artists sound great.

Movies: There are a lot of them, but I usually enjoy the ones that are so bad that they're humorous. It's hard to describe what makes a really good movie, but I'd probably narrow my interests to comedy, horror, and drama. The Color Purple, The Shawshank Redemption, earlier Adam Sandler movies, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies (so bad they're good!)

Books: I tend to read everything I can get my hands on these days. Mostly it's for school, but otherwise I enjoy reading non-fiction. I did enjoy some classic fictional novels, though. I have yet to read Twilight or Harry Potter.

Friends, family, the internet (which organizes my entire life), ice cream, sleep, and... gravity?

Everything! I consider myself to be a pretty inquisitive person. Some topics I often think about include music, psychology, philosophy, people, religion and spirituality (interesting stuff even though I'm not of a particular faith), news and politics, history, technology...

Normally relaxing after a productive week at school by hanging out with friends.

I'm pretty cuddly. Holding someone is one of my favorite things to do.

Why shouldn't you? Who knows what we might have in common. If you're interested in a long-term relationship, whether that be as friends or more, that always helps, but I'm always up for a good chat.
