I’m a person who loves novelty and learning new stuff, so I’m always on my RSS feed reading about whatever is happening in the world or in tech or politics or video games etc.. One of my favorite blogs is called "Now I Know," and it's just interesting facts and stories about the world. I also love learning about the people I meet, because new people are always into at least one really cool that you’ve never heard of or paid attention to. I’ve never ridden a horse or baked anything in my life, but now I know all about them because I’m friends with people who have. Also I really don’t take myself too seriously, because what fun would life be if you couldn’t make fun of it?
So let’s see… I’m into healthcare, advocacy, psychology, tech, media, books, politics, video games, adorable cat pictures, economics, and pretty much anything else that catches my eye. I’m that guy who’s always getting super excited whenever I hear about new 3D printer technology, and is always talking about that Paul Krugman or “What If” article that was just posted. I read sci fi/fantasy novels by the pound, but I also love non-fiction books on behavioral economics. Currently I’m working my way through NPR’s list of the 100 greatest sci-fi/fantasy novels of all time.
Also, it was pointed out to me that I have a ludicrous number of explanations in my question/answer section. Apparently that says a lot about me, though I'm not sure what. I do know that I felt compelled to provide explanations for all those basic IQ questions. Mostly it's because I assume that everyone shares my need to have correct answers to everything, which may or may not be foolish. But, if one of mine were wrong, I'd be happy to come across an explanation in someone else's profile that made me realize it, so there you go.
