My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I could sit here and type all of the things I feel are true about myself, but how I perceive myself isn't necessarily how others will. I could tell you that I like nerdy things(comics, video games, movies), I love animals, I swear a lot, and I'm honest to a fault. I like to think I'm funny(unless everyone has been lying to me), I can cook, and that I'm generally pretty entertaining. Then again, I could also be completely full of shit. I guess it's on you to get to know me and form your own opinion.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm originally from San Antonio, but I took a job up here in Austin. I've been looking to get up here in town for a while and it was honestly the best decision I ever made. I work downtown as the IT Service Supervisor for a medium-sized web-based education company. I'm always working on bolstering my resume, getting new certs in the field and expanding my knowledge to move up in the industry.. but really, it's nothing I can help. I love it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Bar Trivia.

Ranting/rambling. I do these things quite often.

Making terrible puns. The worst. You'll love it.

Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8.

Making lasagna.

Memorizing movie quotes.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Easily my eyes and my hair. People tell me I have fantastic hair. That's pretty cool, I guess. Also, people always tell me I look familiar, even if I've never met them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

As far as music goes.. I can't adequately describe my preferences, as my tastes are too expansive. I usually try not to limit myself, genre wise. Here is a link to my page to give you a better idea, if you're really that interested:

Oh, movies. Movies, movies, movies. I love me some cinema. I'm a walking talking I love movies of all kinds, but especially horror and comedies. I'm a huge fan of Zombie movies, the original Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead being my favorites. I'm also pretty sure I could watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind a thousand times and not be tired of it. That, Shawshank Redemption, and Forrest Gump.

I don't watch much TV at all.. and I don't actually pay for cable TV! I'd really only watch Comedy Central, Travel Channel, and Food Network. Especially when I can watch anything I want on the internet for free. The only TV show I really keep up on these days is The Walking Dead. Zombies.

Books, on the other hand... I've never been a fan of fiction, so I stick more to reality. Some of my favorite books include anything written by Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking... Nerd stuff. I love reading up on Cosmology, Astronomy, the origins of our universe and us as a species. I love to learn.

I love food. All food. All of it. I'll try anything. What I don't like are onions. Can't stand them, but I'll eat them if they're essential to the meal.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dog and cat.
Good Conversation
...Hookah. That's seven, but.. shut up.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The fucking universe, man.

But seriously, I'm a cosmology junkie. I've read/watched just about every last piece of media I can about the universe. It's the most fascinating thing in(or out of) the world to me.

I also spend a lot of time coming up with ideas for stories or movies that I never end up writing down and completely forgetting about when I really need it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Eating something delicious, trying new food or coffee places, going downtown to make an ass of myself, smoking hookah, or going to a show. I go to a looooooot of shows, but hey, so does everybody else in Austin, apparently.

If not these, I'm home laying around and probably watching movies.. being a nerd.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get really bad anxiety about trimming my nails and it takes me an obscenely long time to finish. There is, of course, a story behind it. It's actually pretty funny and completely stupid, haha. Uhg.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if you have more to talk about than the usual small talk(I SWEAR IF ONE MORE PERSON MESSAGES ME WITH "Hey" I WILL SNAP), you want to hang out and get coffee/hookah, or you want to get stomped in Mario Kart(or watch me throw a tantrum if you beat me)
If you have a great sense of humor/quick wit and think you can give me a run for my money.. I love to exchange clever jabs!
If you're not easily offended.
If you're looking for someone to explore Austin with. I'm still newish here and still have so much to see and do, so let's go!

As I've said before, I go to a lot of shows. I want to go to more. Let's go see some live music plzty.
