I am looking for a long term relationship, and some new friends too. Love and stability are important to me, I want to give and receive a lot of warmth and affection. I have a dog and would like another if that will work out between us. I have my own place, which I am remodeling at this time, I hope to share it with you, but I am open to discussing a move if it is REALLY important to you. The town I live in is really great and I hope you wouldn't mind living there. I am not a fancy person, although I am not a slob either. I generally buy high quality things, but not the most stylish. I don't go for the "bling-bling" or the keeping up with the Jones'. I will love you for who you are not what you do, if you flip burgers or are a CEO of a multi-national corporation, I will love you just the same. Our current economy has put the squeeze on all of us, and I will not let that get in the way of a good relationship, so don't panic if you are unemployed right now.
I don't fit into any particular stereo type, for who I am or what I do. I am just ME. I'm very different from what most poeple expect, so keep an open mind and get to know me before you judge me.
I am totally OUT now, and it was a scary yet liberating experience, and I am so Happy to have that behind me now. Most of the family excepts it, and I have had few problems, but that is worked out, so now, on with life!
I enjoy tinkering, fishing, golf, sport shooting, aviation, and am open to trying new things as well.
I would like to have a side shaft engine to tinker on if the price is right. I have also started on a 1953 Model 50 John Deere tractor, it runs well, although it requires some mechanical work, and paint, but all in all a good project too, I have started on that in January of 2010, what a birthday present...LOL!!! I am also working on another couple of project pieces. Spring of 2012, I got a 1950 Model H Farmall, there are some good buys out here given the bad economy, and I came across a deal that was too good to pass up...... This year in 2015 I added a 1950 or51WD Allis Chalmbers to the collection, so the projects continue, Lay's potato chips and tractors are the same, you can't have just one! I am also a member of the local Historical Assoc, and we have an annual show, and other activities, its a lot of fun.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and all the wonderful things we can be for each other.
I am loving, motivated, and adventerous
What I’m doing with my life
I was self employed as an over the road owner operator (trucking), I have taken a break from that over last winter to get into sales, I may have tried to leap to early as the economy was not right for it yet, so for now I am working for a small trucking company close to home, and just trying to survive. I have been thinking of a career change, but with things being as they are (economically) I will stick to trucking, as I know the buissness fairly well. Although I am thinking of something different, (in a couple years) probably sales, as I have experience, and enjoyed it, but who knows what oppertunities will be available. I would really love to win the lottery, and not worry about this all together! LOL!!!! Of course who wouldn't?..
I’m really good at
Operating, driving, and fixing things. I used to fly. Plus I'm not
a bad welder either. I like fabrication and building things. I have
a few engines and implements that I am working on right now, as
well as the tractors.
The first things people usually notice about me
Personality, sense of humor, and my beard if I let it grow out, but
I don't do that much or I get confused with Haggeritt from Harry
That and my variety of intrests.
Yes, the pictures in my file are the views from my "office", and my
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: Airplane, Blazing Saddles, any comedies really.
Music: a little of everything
Food: BBQ, and anything fattening... LOL!!!!
Books: History, Science, Shakespeare, and science fiction
I love Monty Python too!
I also listen to NPR... If you know where Lake Wobigan is, or who
works on the 12th story of the Acme Building. Then you are getting
to know me already... LOL!! Don't drive like my brother!!! Ha,Ha!
The six things I could never do without
you, my next love of my life
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My career, how to make my life better, my house, YOU, fuel mileage, what did I forget to tell the customer, what my future will be, my current projects... As you can see I think too much, and am a little "scatter brained"! :-)
On a typical Friday night I am
On the road, depending on where I am at, getting a cookout started at the truck stop. Back in IL, at the repair shop with old friends, at home out in the shed working on something, and hopefully being with that future someone, huggin', snugglin', and maybe something "else". (nudge, nudge....wink,wink) (Monty Python) LOL!!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I got really drunk once (when I was younger), passed out, and woke
up in nothing but my undies, hanging upside down on the back of a
tow truck. I don't drink too much anymore. In fact I have quit
drinking for the most part.
You should message me if
If you read all of this, I like feed back, and especially if you
want to date me. :-)
If you want to just be friends, and friends of any age
You can send me jokes too, love a good laugh!!!!
Let me know if you have engine parts, engines, or have a tractor,
or tractor parts, for sale.
Send me something... I'll read it.
