My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm am a graduate from Ex'pression in Emeryville, where I studied Sound Arts. I spent 4 years in the Marines including 2 years in Japan and 7 Months in Iraq. I am an easy going guy. I rock climb and bike on a regular basis. My next goal is to bike to Santa Rosa (from Emeryville), so if you want to come on that ride that would be awesome.
*Edit* I did that ride (twice now), it took me about 10 1/2 hours the first time.

I'm 6'3'' and wear glasses. I have one tattoo on my shoulder from my days in the service. Sometimes I have a beard, sometimes I don't, currently I do not.

I am easy going, empathetic, and occasionally sarcastic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working as an audio visual technician for the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay.

I can not wait to get back to traveling the world. I feel that travel broadens the mind in a way that little else can.

I have decided that I would like to learn to dance (tango). So if you want to come take lessons with me then that would be awesome.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
It is really hard for me to talk about favorites because I am constantly changing them.

Books: I'm mostly read graphic novels except I love the Book Shogun by James Clavel. I am working on The Walking Dead right now. Some of my favorites are Preacher, The Watchmen, Fables, and Y: The Last Man. I am a big fan of audio books, a good narrator can add a great deal to a story. I am going threw the Doctor Who audio book collection.

TV: My favorite show right now is Doctor Who, hands down, though Firefly is a close second. I really like Top Gear even though I am not really a car guy, that show is hilarious. I guess right now I am just into most things on the BBC. I watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report regularly as well. I just became a big fan of How I Met Your Mother.

Movies: Now this list could go on forever. I am a big fan of all the James Bond movies. I pretty much go for anything besides gore movies. I just don't really see the point to them. I have just a general love for movies and the movie going experience. Oh, and there will always be a place in my collection for the great classics, like UHF and nearly all Tim Burton Films. And now How to Train your Dragon. You really need to see that movie.

Music: I am constantly changing what I listen to. Currently I find myself listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin because I am learning some of John Bonham's songs, namely D'yer Mak'er.

Food: I'll eat most anything at least once. I love trying foods from different countries and prefer not to know what exactly it is until after I have.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about what I can be doing now that I finished my degree. Some times I wonder if leaving the Military was a good choice but, as much as I loved it, that's not how I want to raise my kids.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I do not have a typical day, no two are the same for me.

My mom passed when I was 10 years old. This is not meant for you to feel bad in any way. I am just letting you know because it is part of what has shaped me to become who I am and I'd rather get it out now then put someone in an awkward situation later.
