My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm something of a nerd - I enjoy playing games (board and video), writing my own novel(s) and reading many more.

I'm also, theoretically, a nice enough guy (97% of people writing this would agree); I believe in trying to be honourable and honest, much to my own detriment often enough, though I do enjoy being a bit of a cad around friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I spend a lot of it in pursuit of excellence - in my job and my own goals. At work, it's all about trying to make the most fun video game possible and, the rest of the time, working towards creating my own piece of awesome.

I spend lots of time hanging out with friends as well. It's fun to sit back and listen to folks talk ... to really listen and hear someone open up with their stories and perspective of the world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a clandestine grammar nerd wannabe.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Scruffy hair, unless I've just been on a must-look-more-respectable binge. Brown skin, viewed as an evil thing in some parts of the world. A stupid grin.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'll try to keep this brief ...

Books: Too many. I generally prefer stuff that's not necessarily set in reality as we know it, so anything by Haruki Murakami, Sci-Fi, or Fantasy. Reading 'The Big Sleep' at the moment and am really enjoying it.

Movies: Anything animated or, again, in a world that isn't exactly normal (key exception to that is 'American Beauty'): 'Wall-E', 'Up', 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World', 'Stranger Than Fiction', 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs', ...

TV: Community, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Phineas & Ferb, ...

Music: Rock, in its many forms, and classical. Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Coheed & Cambria, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Beethoven (I adore the 1st movement of his 7th symphony), for starters.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

- Purpose - it can be vague, but what's the point of a 'journey' if you don't have an idea of where you're going?
- My friends and family.
- Videogames. :)
- Money, to afford a decent life.
- Good music - something with 'depth'.
- A home.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything and nothing. Usually daydreaming about things that don't matter in the slightest (like where I stand on the use of 'LOL' or 'hehe' when laughing in a text).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In a pub for one drink. Then, either dining with friends or catching up on reading, while preparing for an exciting weekend to follow.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love 'bad' wordplay and stupid jokes.
