Graduated from UCSC in Spring 2011. Been living in Berkeley for the past year. I am employed full-time at a small creative film agency as a film editor, vfx artist, etc. I spend most of my time hanging out with friends, working, and pursuing my interests.

I'm a good photographer and filmmaker (specifically editing and cinematography, though I'd like to think I am a decent writer/director.) I'm pretty good at video-games, cracking-wise, and arguing...did I really write that last one? Also cracking-wise? Who says that? Wow.

Oh, also fixing things! And driving my miata fast on a back road or at autocross, etc.

I'm also good at self-promotion, but not at filling out profiles...so I'm good at irony?

That I'm super out-going, willing to engage them, and can be somewhat intimidating. However those who get to know me know that I can dial it back and generally just be a fun person to hang out with, who is also capable of being a good confidant, therapist, sounding-board, etc.

Books:
I don't read as much as I should but right now I really love William Gibson, specifically Neuromancer. Would love to see it made into a movie...

Movies:
Ok, so I'm a filmmaker, so I should really be into movies right? Well I am, but I'm not nearly as well-versed as most people I know in the films I probably should've seen. I like movies, not necessarily the all-time greats. Right now my favorite film is probably "Brick", but I've got a great deal of movies I really enjoy. Brick, Die Hard, Die Hard With A Vengeance [III], The Maltese Falcon, Apocalypse Now, The Conversation, Blue Velvet, Alien, Ghost In the Shell, Serenity, The Social Network, Empire Strikes Back...

Shows:
Firefly, Star Trek (all of them, but mostly DS9 and TNG), The West Wing, Community, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Daily Show, Colbert, Top Gear (UK), Archer, The Simpsons, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Futurama, Grey's Anatomy, South Park, Top Chef...the list goes on.

Music:
I don't listen to a huge amount of music but I do enjoy music...I'm just not the most knowledgeable or well-versed person when it comes to music. However, I am typically surrounded by people who are so that helps. I like a variety of things...probably learning more toward alternative rock, maybe some electronic. Ummm...jazz is cool. Anyway, send me some music if it's important to you. I'll probably like it, but if I don't I won't be afraid to let you know.

Specific bands, fine. Kasabian, The Killers, Coldplay (guilty pleasure, that), The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric, The Black Keys, The Kills, Florence + The Machine, White Lies.

Food:
I like just about any kind of food you can name and am always willing to try something at least once. Sushi, Mexican Food, American Food, Thai Food, Chinese Food, whatever, if it tastes good I'll eat it, and I won't arbitrarily decide if I think it will taste good or not until I've at least tried it.

The internet.
Computers.
Cameras.
Friends.

My Miata.

Cars, technology, hypothetical inventions. The nature of life, reality, and the human experience, and how those are being constantly pushed and altered by technological and medical advancements.

Ideas for films. Lots of fragments there, scenes, images, lines, places, people...some better formed than others.

Hanging out with friends, having a few drinks, and enjoying the fact that the weekend is here. Or maybe driving around. Depends.

I'm diagnosed (trust me, not one of the over-diagnosed out there, real deal) with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Which honestly isn't a totally bad thing to have.
