Hi. This is me, according to me:

Always real, all the time. Even if that sucks. But it doesn't. Vague, and over-used adjectives don't really seem to do anyone justice- so, I never use them to describe myself. I am me. And you should be you.

I like maps, guitars, records, baseball, delicious food, road trips, and trips in general. But really, who doesn't? Exactly. Also, I specialize in snarky remarks and being a smart ass. This could possibly be conceived as "charming." Also, I talk a lot.

Being awesome. Looking for someone awesome to share said awesomeness with. Get it? Now that that's over with....

Trying to visit all 50 states, and every major league baseball stadium in the US. Want to know how many I've got left? Please, ask! Want to come with? Even better. Maybe. You better be really great...

Existing. Listening to good music. Eating good food. And planning my next adventure....always. Oh, and working on a "career" (or whatever you call those things). You know, the same stuff everyone else is doing.

I love music, and rock'n'roll. We can talk favorite bands/albums/songs/concerts for days on end and I would never get bored. Collecting records and CD's is really fun for me. Let's have a conversation about our favorites instead of name dropping and making a list. It'll be a good conversation....

Some of my favorite movies are Magnolia, Requiem For a Dream, Billy Madison, Wayne's World, The Godfather, The Dark Knight, Amelie, Seven, Snatch, The Royal Tenenbaums, Jurassic Park, High Fidelity, Moonlight Kingdom, Edward Scissorhands, Lawless, and and and and and and and and and and and

I prefer watching TV shows on DVD or Netflix. But TV shows I like are: Seinfeld, The Wire, The Walking Dead, The Simpsons, Jeopardy, Californication, Rome, The Wonder Years, The Riches, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Wondershowzen, Raising Hope, House of Cards, Band of Brothers, almost anything on the Travel Channel, food shows (Anthony Bourdain, Man vs Food, etc), and whatever else catches my attention.
Clear eyes. Full hearts. Can't lose.

My favorite books include The Catcher In The Rye, Everything Is Illuminated, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Slaughterhouse Five, The Godfather, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, 1984, A People's History of the United States, American Gods, Enders Game, High Fidelity, and some more.

Yeah, I really like food. Pretty much everybody on this website claims to love food. So, instead of listing off favorite meals or ethnic cuisines, why don't you just let me take you out to dinner and we can talk about awesome things while we eat awesome food. Deal?

Where I've been. Where I want to go next. What's for dinner. How good certain songs are. Conspiracy theories, and actual conspiracies. What other people are thinking about. How traffic works, urban planning, and what lies along all the highways of the US that I have not seen yet. Also, meticulously planning road trips that may or not be very practical.
