I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I also appreciate
the comfort of an evening spent at home. I really stink at writing
self- summaries and I am better when I meet someone in person after
an introduction, but that does not really apply here.
I am good at my job and am financially secure. As I have gotten
older there seems to be fewer opportunities to meet new women with
the potential of dating. So here I am giving this a whirl. In my
dating life I've just never found someone who really "got" me.
I am smart, funny, and honorable
What I’m doing with my life
I am an engineering manager at a manufacturing company. I am doing
well in my career and would like to meet someone to have some fun
with (because frankly I can't stand pocket protectors).
I have great friends and I rarely find myself with nothing to do;
well, except of course tonight, as I am writing this.
I’m really good at
I make bagels from scratch that get raves. No, seriously; I'm not
just blowing smoke. They are really good.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sarcastic and sometimes biting wit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
G4TV, Attack of The Show. Nirvana (the band, not the religious
ideal). All the Sherlock Holmes books. Food: simple ingredients
The six things I could never do without
Six things I cannot do without are:
Six things I would not WANT to do without are:
Comfortable yet stylish shoes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why I'm spending my time writing personal profiles and why people
would spend time reading them.
On a typical Friday night I am
I usually meet friends out for a drink and some dinner.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The end of "It's a Wonderful Life" gets me every time. "To my big
brother George, the richest man in town..."
You should message me if
you want to get out of your comfort zone for a minute or two. I
know a little bit about a lot of things, and a lot about some
things. If you've had enough of trite, boring conversation ring me
