I just graduated (12/14/2013) from ODU with a B.S. in civil & environmental engineering. I also have a BS in physics with minor in math from Longwood University. I grew up in SW-VA & I'm back here until I can find a full time job; I don't think it'll be long before I get a job in my field.
I don't get to spend the time I want to pursue a relationship so I'm giving this dating site a try. I used to spend most of my time studying, however now that time is be spent toward finding a job; I also work out 4+ times a week. In my free time, I like to keep up with world news and politics; I don't expect you to do the same. I'm very open minded and I love to learn new things & hear new perspectives on all kinds of topics. I really enjoy studying and playing games about history, especially American & European, and I also am fascinated by economics, and religion. I enjoy good conversation on those topics. I also really enjoy nature and animals. I grew up on a farm, with a lot of animals; horses, dogs, cats, birds. I love doing things outside like going to the beach, hiking or going skiing.
My career and staying in shape are my top two priorities right now. My short term goal is get a job as a civil engineer [working on traffic, roads, bridges, tunnels, etc.] It doesn't matter to me where in the U.S I'll live however there's a 90% chance I'll be living in Virginia for at least a few more years.
I'm looking for a woman who's smart, focused on her future, and is willing to have some fun when her schedule allows. I think the most important thing in a relationship is communication. I'm really looking for a woman who will communicate with me when something bothers her or any other reason for that matter; women who play games or say things that are opposite of what they mean do not mesh well with me. I take words very literal.
Since I don't know where I'll be living in 2014, I'm not looking for a long-term relationship right now; I'm looking more for someone to have fun with and/or have good conversation with.
