My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Greetings Internet OKCupid traveler! I had a clever introduction, but I suppose it sat for to long. So now I will bake a new one while you enjoy this interim.

Been in Seattle for a while now. Acclimating well, been fun. Different from Florida for sure.

I do a fair amount of gaming, Although less now than in times past. Video, tabletop, the like. Do more board gaming now than other things, and Magic the Gathering, because it is my job.
I grew up in South Florida, so I'm a secret fan of things like quiet beaches, fishing, and other boat/water related activities. I generally spend my birthday every year in Key West with my friends, getting into a little more trouble than we probably should.... with the recent move that is less likely to happen.

I'm a big dog person. (Which is to say I like dogs, and I enjoy big dogs, especially my Alaskan Malamute Keeko)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Work, all the damn time. Splitting my time between two one working at my friends hobby store and special event coordination at the NEW AFK Elixirs and Eatery in Renton! Super fun and all the nerds!

I am the stage manager for Vicarious Theater Company, the local Rocky Horror cast. First Saturday of every month at the Admiral's theater in West Seattle. Come and see us. While you probably won't see me on stage, you will hear me making loud offensive jokes nonstop for 2 hours.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being relaxed, video games, relaxing, libation creation. Waffles and other breakfast concoctions.

I'm a fantastic host, I am looking forward towards purchasing a home at the end of the year so I can have a worthwhile venue in which to host parties again.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Physically? I couldn't tell you, I'm tragically average in that department. Likely the red beard, when it is present. (Ya-har, incidentally)

Socially? I have a unique Syntax, and it often takes people by surprise. I have been told people don't believe stories of the way I speak. So that's nifty. I do my best to not sound like a pretentious arse when I talk. It happens by accident sometimes, but I'm conscious of it at least.

Of course if the dog is with me, all things are forgotten in favor of fawning over the giant fluffball.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

These things rotate as new things come out, currently watching Dexter, Big Bang. I'm a huge fan of Burn Notice, Once upon a time, Scrubs, South Park, Archer, Dr. Who, Community, Game of Thrones, and others. I have a Secret obsession with RuPaul's drag race, because it's the only reality-contest show that I find ludicrous enough to be acceptable. (also it's a side effect of having lived with a middle aged gay man for a year)

Listening to a lot of the radio, classic rock, musicals. My taste is music is pretty much a "yes", my playlists will contain anything from Lordi to Ludacris, and everything in between.

Books I generally just keep up with the expanded lore novels of the various games I play (CUZ I ARE TEH NERDS) Although my Favorite author is Diane Duane (check her out if you like Harry Potter, because she more or less wrote the best Kid-Wizards book series ever, circa 1990s) #ironicnotironicWizardhipster

I am adding a games/gaming section, because I feel it appropriate
gaming: Wildstar, Borderlands, League of Legends, Rogue Trader. Mass Effect. Heavy Rain. Many many others, those are just the first ones off the top of my head. I'm an ex-wow player, been off the sauce for a year or so now.
I also have gotten back into MtG recently, as a result of my job being to sort through thousands and thousands of cards every week.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Contact (Social, Mental, Physical)
My Glasses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
New events for the AFK

What to do to get out of whatever weird rut I happen to have brain-locked myself in to at any given moment.

How I'd kinda like to meet someone who genuinely is cool with the nerdiness and eccentricities, and possesses a set of their own, hopefully that interlocks well with mine.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

So 4/5 Senses function at about 50-60% for me.
I have bad eyes (see the glasses).

I have had terrible sinuses since I was a kid. I don't sniffle constantly or anything, I just have a dulled sense of smell and taste.

Combine all that with too much loud rock music and front row concerts to destroy my hearing, and pow.

The result being, I am hyper-tactile. I eat almost exclusively on texture and temperature, both of which I am very sensitive to.

It seems more weird than private, but meh. Its a thing? not one I normally just bring up.

You're a person who enjoys someone who is eclectic, nerdy, and fairly genuine. I am certainly always looking for new friends, dates and the like. Moreover in the market for something that could become long term. I am over the fling phase of my life, it seems.

Or if you just want to go do something fun for the sake of itself. I enjoy random adventures with new folks.

and please be a dog person. I have a 100lb mountain of fluff at home, and you've got to be ok with that.
