My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to make people laugh. Not the telling jokes kind of way though I do have a couple, but more of the spontaneous wry comment variety. Puns are a double edged sword for me. I use them with impunity but groan when I'm on the receiving end. I also really like talking to interesting people. If you have an interesting story to tell, I'm all ears.

Hiking is an activity I really enjoy even though I'm not very good at it. I have a pair of hiking poles I absolutely adore. I might even name them at some point. Don't really enjoy camping very much though.

I have a pet bearded dragon named after Tully Bascom in "The Mouse that Roared." He might actually be a female though...still, as female names go, Tully isn't that bad.

I have an interest in human anatomy and botany, but for various reasons have decided to not to pursue either as a career choice. I do like to talk about them though.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Computer programming, Weightlifting, Reading, Eating, Maintaining Homeostasis.

Chasing deer out of my garden because they keep eating my plants. Less so this year since I bought a mess of chicken wire and surrounded my strawberries and peas with it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening I suppose.

Remembering inane trivia.

Talking to strangers. They have the best candy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It used to be that I look like Harry Potter or Frodo, but now I have been compared to Edward from the Twilight series. It made me a little sad...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The Song of Fire and Ice series.
Harry Potter series.
Sherlock Holmes.
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Godel, Escher, Bach.
I like more books than just these, but it's a rather long list, so you'll have to ask me about specifics.

I'll watch just about any movie, but my favorties tend to be action films.
I also like comedy and romantic comedy which can be depressingly formulaic at times but still fun to watch.
Let's see, I really like Jurassic Park, but that may just be the nostalgia talking. The movie was better than the book at least.
Star Wars 3-6 were pretty good.

I've been going through old shows on Netflix recently like A-Team and Magnum PI. I've also been watching Agents of Shield and Game of Thrones when people pressure me into it. I also like old mystery shows I can rent from the library such as Poirot.
And Dr. Who. Love Dr. Who.
I've seen the first two seasons of Dexter and enjoyed them.
I'm also fond of the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

I'm fond of most types of music with the exclusion of rap and hip-hop. That doesn't mean there aren't songs of these genres that I like.

I like a variety of foods, but my favorites tend to have strong flavors. I'm a fan of a lot of southern style cooking.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
People to talk with.

Some form of entertainment (books, etc).

Reddit or some way I can stay informed of current events.

My phone (I like texting people).

Food, Water, Shelter, Air and similar things.

Some way to better myself, be it weights for weight lifting or books for educating myself.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I can put in this field. Besides that mostly just future plans. I'd like to go to England this Summer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with my friends. I don't drink much at all though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've noticed a lot of responses talking about how silly this question is since the response is no longer private if you talk about it. This seems to be an accurate assessment.

But on a more (or less) serious note I hate the sound of teeth being brushed. It makes me cringe. Doesn't bother me when I'm doing it though.
