I am Smiley, Adventurous, and Blessed.
My Self-Summary
I'm a
California girl that's lived in Texas
now for the better part of three years. I just recently moved to
Abilene, and I'd really love to make some friends in this area. I
don't think it takes a lot to get along with me, but I've been told
that I'm unique. I'm very animated and I relate really well with
kids. I'd love to make some like minded christian friends that I
can hang out with when I have free time, and just get a better feel
for what there is to do in this town so I can stay happy.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm enjoying my new job at Target, and helping take care of my
wonderful neices and nephew. All of my family is in California, so
I'm really close to the friends that I've made and adopted as my
family. In this next year, I'm hoping to save up money to purchase
a vehicle and get my own apartment, but until then I'm pretty
content with where I'm at.
I’m really good at
Most everything that I set my mind to. I love to cook, and I'm a
great friend. I love putting people at ease and helping them
through tough times and I'm great at playing with and taking care
of kids. I have a very artistic personality. Notice that I didn't
say that I'm a great artist, but I do love to express myself
through art. Various forms being through sewing, cross stich, oil
painting, sculpting with clay, stained glass, writing, poetry,
dancing, and coloring with good old fashioned crayons and paper.
The first things people usually notice about me
People usually notice my height and my eyes first. After that, it's
my caring disposition and fun loving personality.
I want to edit this but I don't know how. I'm pretty much in denial
that people ever notice me.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love to cook, and I'll try just about anything new that looks
intersting. Some of my favorites are Japanese, Italian, Indian,
Mexican, and American food. I love authentic German Chocolates and
Japanese canides and drinks. Here's a random question... does
anybody know where I can find Boba (
bubble tea) in Abilene?
I absolutely LOVE
musicals, but as far as actual music
goes... I wish I knew more about the music I like. I usually listen
to Christian music, some country, and like 90's alternative. I have
a strong appreciation for my home town's music scene. I love all
kinds of music, I just don't pay attention to specifics.
Strong reccomendations tho, check out Justin Stie and The Trees,
Mahop and Vile -all
from Visalia, CA and my absolute favorite from St Louis-
So Many Dynamos.
They play in Visalia every year and they're releasing their third
cd June 9th. I absolutely adore them. To anybody that reads this...
check them out on myspace, look up their tour dates and go to one
of their shows if you're able to.
I love to read books that people recommend. Right now I'm in the
middle of a book called Crazy Love, but some of my favorite books
are the books from The Inheritance Trillogy, The Chocolate War,
Revelations, Emmerson's Essays, Ender's Game, Fahrenheit 451, and
the Left Behind books. There's tons others... but that's just what
comes to mind.
Movies are great. I'm a sucker for chick flicks, but I also love
most family movies, anime, action, adventure, and kid's movies. I
don't do horror movies... but I do love vampire moves.
My favorite TV shows are The Gilmore Girls and Little House on the
Prarie. I also love MASH, House, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, and
anything that comes on TLC. (how sad... as soon as I put that I
love MASH and Little House, I got the "old fashioned" award)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How awesome God is.
I've been thinking a lot about water.
Who else in the entire universe could thoughtfully consider a
natural resource that would be so amazing as water? Everything
needs it.
Think about this: God had to actually decide that we'd all have the
same taste for it. That with every nationality and personal
preference in taste... that we would all have an equal
accessability to this bevrage that quenches every person's thirst
and that to every individual, always tastes delicious. Water is
just plain enough that you can't compare it to anything, and just
fine enough that nobody really minds drinking a glass. That to
me... is a beautiful merriment that just in one tiny way... depicts
the majesty and amazing provision of our perfect God.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I had my way, I'd do a number of things. I love being out of the
house, but even nights in are amazingly fun. Sadly... I usually
chill after the rats (simon and sam) are asleep and clean house
while I catch up with my friends from CA over the phone. Wait...
take a step back, that's not every friday night, that's just every
night. I so sad.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm a pretty open person.
I'm going to use this to list RANDOM things I'm willing to admit.
Nothing private... but nothing that any sane person would openly
put in their profile.
*I absolutely love things that glow in the dark.
*The best time of my life was 2006. Can't even recall how much fun
that year was, and all of my friends totally agree.
*I know everything there is to know about Sea Monkeys. I'm a huge
fan of them and sadly... I find them interesting.
*If I could spend mass quantities of money on anything that would
benefit me personally... I'd get braces a second time. I loved
having them in high school, and I hate that I never wore my
retainers because my bottom teeth kinda need them again.
*When I was a little kid, I thought that the way my hair felt under
water was the coolest thing in the world. I'm pretty sure at some
point I wanted to be a mermaid.

You should message me if you want to meet a nice girl that will
always be around to put you in a good mood. Message me if you'd
like to get to know me, or even if you just feel like saying hi to
someone new.
(I'll think of a better reason why later)
