My self-summary
I studied history, but it wasn't for me. I worked as a bicycle mechanic for a few years, spent some time on odd jobs and finally managed to graduate from artschool with a degree in Game and Interaction Design.

I'm currently getting back on my feet after a bad run with being rather ill, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things and try to take it easy when I find free time. I like a drink when I'm with friends, a cigarette when I'm stressed and my coffee black without sugar.

So in short, I'm a major geek with a degree to prove it.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm mostly focused on recovering and taking in life. I try to relax. I go for a run or a walk, pick up a book, paint or play a video game.
I’m really good at
Talking to different kinds of people. Fixing stuff without the proper tools, especially bicycles.
The first things people usually notice about me
I think it's rather hard to miss the beard. It covers most of my face.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Kader Abdolah - The House of the Mosque
J.M. Coetzee - The Master of Petersburg
Anything by Terry Pratchett (not a big fan of other fantasy literature)

I also love comics, though I haven't read any for a while. I'm a big fan of Frank Miller's Sin City and the work he did on Batman. I enjoy Punisher, Deadpool and Lobo when I can get my hands on them.

When it comes to movies I'll sit down and watch anything and everything. If it's spectacularly bad, I love it. If it's really corny, I'm a happy camper. If it's especially good? Great!

Every once in a while I download a series and watch it, though there are some favourites that come to mind:
-The Wire
-Game of Thrones
-Sons of Anarchy

Music. Yes please. All of it, although electronic music doesn't quite hit home with me. From Otis Redding to Peter Pan Speedrock, from KRS-One to the Jivebombers. It's all good as long as it does something to me. Honourable mentions go to:
-Peter Pan Speedrock
-Angel City Outcasts
-Kings of Nothing
-Solomon Burke
-Mos Def
-Thelonious Monk
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once engaged in an affair with a girl who was in a relationship. I felt terrible when I met her boyfriend and he was incredibly nice, eventhough he knew.

You don't mind your men hairy, geeky and talkative.
