My self-summary
Hi, I'm some dude on the internet, how are you?

As for what kind of dude? I would say good dude, funny dude, weird dude, and evolving dude. I don't actually say "dude" this much in real life, just so you know. We're working on a rhythm here. I'm presently in a healthy late 20's growing up phase, the ol' "dude to man" transition, if you will.

I'm also a full-time nursing student growing up and getting my shit together. Purpose and function are very important to me, and I'm eager to learn how to help people, in a hospital setting and beyond.

Past all that - tall nerd, single cat dad, former fake fighting viking, adventure enthusiast, and proud owner of a 2nd learner's permit. There's plenty more beyond that, so don't be afraid to ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Picking things up and putting them down at various weights and techniques.
Riding a bike really fast to nowhere.
Juicing all the veggies and fruits I can get my hands on.
Trying to avoid stressing the the 2 most important years of my life.
Planning out the remaining 60 years of my life.
Putting way too much time into that Simpsons iPad game.
I’m really good at
- Guessing heights based on OKCupid pictures.
- Manual labor.
- Making fun out of the mundane.
- Smuggling excessive amounts of snacks into movies.
- Psychoanalyzing myself. Sometimes Analrapizing myself.
- Being too calm.
- Being too excited.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm clearly so staggeringly handsome and engaging that they think I'm entirely unapproachable and out of their league, which is the only reason I can gather that girls aren't constantly flocking to me.

OR..."Ohhh, wow. That guy's pretty tall."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I feel like Reddit counts as all of those things balled into one, so it gets special mention for consuming way too much of my down time.

TV, lately:
Orange Is The New Black, Top Gear (UK), Mad Men, Justified, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, etc. I am a great appreciator of good television. I love to be told a long and winding narrative.

Some favorite movies:
Breakfast Club, Dog Day Afternoon, Major League, Scott Pilgrim, Kill Bill, Old Boy, Drive, and many more. Movies seem like much more of an investment for me than a TV series, so I tend to watch them less.

Music:
I'm always listening to something different, which is unbearably cliche to say. Some days it's Frank Turner, some days it's Killer Mike, other days might be Torche or Santigold. That stuff is easier to work out in person. Let's be Rdio buddies.
I worked in music venues from ages 18-26, to the point where I have live concert ADD. Music is easier to talk about in person, anyways.

Not totally music, but still ear-centric, I do love a bunch of podcasts, such as:

- Nerdist
- You Made It Weird
- Savage Lovecast
- Sex Nerd Sandra
- Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
- Harmontown
- WTF w/ Marc Maron
- Art Of Wrestling w/ Colt Cabana
- Mysterious Universe

Food:

I drink 4 large fruit/vegetable juices a day mostly, and try to get by on just that. I am forever fat at heart though, just without actually having any cholesterol-clogged arteries.. Pizza, Mexican, and Chinese food will never be entirely out of my system, and I have a special love for Japanese street food like takoyaki and okonomiyaki.

Books:

Textbooks, mostly. A Song of Ice and Fire was my summer reading project with way too many others (Inside Scientology, American Gods, Yiddish Policeman's Union) waiting on deck. Comic books as well - Saga, Walking Dead, Nowhere Men, etc. Picking through Mary Roach stuff as well.
The six things I could never do without
- My iPad.
- My delightful little hermit cave.
- My beloved, beat to shit bike.
- My juicer.
- Gym time.
- A plan of some kind. Always moving forward. Always new goals.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How the universe came to be, and the idea of existence coming from nothing. Can something really just always be? You can narrow everything down to the tiniest speck of matter - but where did that speck come from?

Awesome fantasy scenarios where I become wealthy and comfortable without doing any work.

Practical scenarios where I grind on my goals until they actually happen.

What life would be like if I acted in the complete opposite way of my natural self.

Also, if I'm pretty or not.
On a typical Friday night I am
Mostly trying to enjoy the world or studying or sleeping before an early clinical shift on Saturday morning. My life is an endless thrill ride of tedium like that. But Friday night excitement is not impossible, in fact I encourage it!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My ATM pin code is 8754.

INFJ.

My safe word is Tungsten.

One of those three things is actually true. We can trade secrets if we actually like one another.
