I admit I don't read as often as I'd like, but I do have a few
favorites. I've always been a fan of Michael Crichton, particularly
(so different from the movie). I'm also a fan of Sherlock Holmes
Right now I'm trying to get through the Song of Ice and Fire
series but I'm still on A Game of Thrones
. I collect
graphic novels on occasion.
Oh where to begin... If I made a list it would go on too long. My
favorites would have to be comic book adapted movies and
sci-fi/fantasy. I'm also a fan of shows, although I feel the need
to point out that just because I like a lot of shows doesn't mean I
dedicate myself to sitting in front of the big screen. I really
hate that stereotype.
> Battlestar Galactica
> Game of
> Buffy the Vampire
> Arrested Development
> Doctor Who
(if the username didn't give that away)
> House of
> Parks &
> Mystery Science Theater
etc, etc, etc... I'm also a fan of theater and LOVE Hamlet
I admit I'm "strange" when it comes to music. I don't listen for
the sake of connecting to the lyrics on a personal level and
finding any special meaning. I just listen because it sounds good.
99% of the time I couldn't even tell you what a song is about! With
that being said, I tend to mostly like classic rock. Some heavy
metal (like Metallica, Static-X, Rammstein, etc). But I really like
instrumental music, particularly from movie/TV/video game
The hardest part of losing weight is giving up so many wonderful
things. When I'd be really
bad pizza and Chinese food
would be at the top of the list. Now if I indulge on occasion I
might get a chicken quesadilla, sushi, or chicken tenders from
Publix (oh dear god).
But I generally watch what I eat and track it with MyFitnessPal
. That food
selection is rather boring.
