My self-summary
My biggest regret is my user name.

Sorry if I look at your profile more than 1-8 times. I usually forget who I've seen.

I drive around aimlessly drinking coffee and staring at grapes. I normally ride my bicycle as often as I can but I've been being lazy and I work during most of the daylight hours.

I hate folding clothes and put it off as long as possible. I do however like folding towels.

Self-summary in summary:
I like movies, I like sunsets, and any sort of illuminated dinner. I love to cook, for business and pleasure. I love my bicycle but neglect it far too much. I like video games but don't play then often. I hate long walks on the beach because sand is the worst. Can't we just have long walks anywhere else?
What I’m doing with my life
I'm doing whatever I can to occupy my days, ripping down sheetrock, Avoiding breathing asbestos, putting in insulation, drinking coffee, eating lunch. Bike riding, cooking, mending my car, working on boats, terminating cables, loading broken concrete, shoveling gravel, laying paver stones for a driveway.

No I'm not a day laborer, my family just has lots of odd things that need doing and I've got the time.

I also walk dogs for the county animal shelter.

Also I don't get to do any of those things anymore because I am a productive member of society (I have a job).

I'm in the process of studying and taking tests to qualify and license myself as a water treatment operator. And once I do, I'll finally gets job that has regular hours and weekends off. Mmmm how dreamy.
I’m really good at
-I speak English fluently.
-Most people seem to think I'm some super chef because I've made them food once or twice.
-I make a pretty mean mojito, and manhattan.
-Gluing PVC pipe together?
-I'm really really good at thinking long pauses in a conversation with someone I don't know too well are really awkward so I feel responsible to say something which usually turns out to be awkward then I hate myself for opening my goddamn mouth in the first place. Yeah, I'm really good at that.
The first things people usually notice about me
People often ask me why I'm working where I do when I should be off doing some ridiculous research or working at JPL or on Jeopardy. I haven't been able to come up with a good answer.
And that might be the second thing people notice. I guess I'll never know the first.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love lists.
On books:
For some strange reason all I read for the last four years was non-fiction. It got so bad that when I tried to start reading fiction again, I forgot how. I didn't know that it was possible, but it was. I've overcome this handicap and am happily reading all those thing a young person is supposed to read, Kerouac, Salinger, Hemingway. I guess I'm sort of a modern lit kind of guy but I'm trying to add recent fiction in. Just don't push me I'm getting there. I'm up to something like the 1960's.

On media:
I love watching movies of any sort with a movie buddy, I need a new one now since I left the other behind. Be it on the couch or at the theater. I can't stand watching TV but I'm a sucker for NOVA and National Geographic specials. Thankfully those are all on Netflix and Hulu.

Music: all. I know its a copout but its true.

Foods: EVERYTHING. I haven't found something I won't eat, just a few things I'm working up the courage to order.
The six things I could never do without
- A nitrogen/helium/hydrogen/oxygen mixture?
- The sound and smell and feel of rain. Also windshield wipers.
-Socks.
- My glasses. I'd be sol without them
-My friends
- All 13 Hours of Carl Sagan's Cosmos?
-Love? Because it defies, logic and just plainly makes no sense and is irrational and wonderful. God that was sappy, screw it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I always wonder why people pay money to own shirts to advertise a product.

The answer to life, love the universe, THE answer you everything, to life's big mystery. I'm told the answer is 42, but I'm not so sure.

UPDATE: I was told if you ask Siri she says 42. Must be true then.
On a typical Friday night I am
I have no idea, usually dinner and drinks, shortly there after followed by a great (terrible) idea or project. Sometimes its like this, drive 30 miles from home to meet at Rutherford Grill, order a drink and a sandwich to-go, leave, watch something blow up, drive to my best friend's house and watch Miss Congeniality with him and his little sister. Fairly normal I guess.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't know I'm pretty open. Ask.

EDIT: I thought of something! I have a weird soft spot for romantic commedies and chick flicks. I'm weird, whatever.

EDIT2: I fed my cat pasta and he loved it. :3
EDIT3: I think the emoticon " :3 " is hilariously adorable.
